against what i saw its all come to zero 👎👎👎
No complimentary items at all very gross 🤢 and un professional, breakfast was include however did not take it as i discover that resturant is 10 minutes walking in street ? they do not even bather to bring it to you ,they charge my visa with things i did not use so gross 🤢 and when i talke to them they refunded very very dirty behaviour??

It was clean and in a close proximity to the harbour for boat trips and nice restaurants.
We had to pay for coffee pods and it didn’t include any milk to even have a coffee of tea. Pretty basic things these days.

The place was very well located to access Cinque Terre. The room isn’t overly spacious but you get exactly what you see online. There is no staff or reception there, so all comms is via WhatsApp but my experience was they were very responsive when we we had questions. The room was also clean and comfy!
The wifi signal didn’t really reach our room which was tricky on days we needed to do a bit of work. There’s also no reception / restaurant / gym / breakfast etc. so if you want those services, this isn’t a good option.

The rooms were very modern
Room keys weren’t initially in the lock box, the cleaners had them. Though this wasn’t a big issue as once we got in to the main lobby area the cleaners gave us our keys.

Good location, friendly staff. They ordered a taxi when we needed one and offered advice when requested.
The aircon likely needs to be serviced or filters cleaned. We had the AC on the lowest setting and after sitting in the room for a while it did not cool down enough. After we approached management to ask for a new room they advised they were fully booked but offered a small fan to help which it did and were grateful for it.
Breakfast would be better if offered a bit earlier than 8:30am. Many tourists tend to head out for the day quite early especially in summer so there were a couple mornings we missed out.

The room was clean
Wi-Fi didn’t work. We had 2 nights booked but the booking wasn’t combined for some reason and were made to check out at 11 until 3pm, with a pregnant wife not ideal! Coffee in the room wasn’t complimentary - €1.5, for context a cappuccino at a cafe was €1.30.

This is how i can describe my 8 hours stay and here is the situation.
As soon as i arrived to the property i got wi-fi issues and i have contacted via whats app the manager of the rooms, they fixed it in 2 hours but still i had to cancel my online meetings due to this issue. After they fixed it, it stopped working again and I communicated then via messages because i didn’t have a wifi, because i got no answer and i am alone in a different county without any internet i started panicing and called them from the phone which is in the room. I told the host that the wifi is not working again and he told that the technician is coming tomorrow and this is not their problem because they are not the phone company. He ended up telling me that i am “rude and unpolite”NO ONE INFORMED ME ABOUT THIS. No one said sorry or apologized for the inconvenience they caused me because of not having a wifi. It’s 21st century and it is a must. Especially if they say on their website/booking page that the wifi is included.
But the main problem happend when i forgit my card inside the room and as soon as i realized i texted the manager but he replied only to my friend (i asked her to contact them via whatsapp) IN 2 HOURS!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Instead of apologizing telling me many times that i am rude.
As soon as they sent the information about the emergency box with a key inside i grabbed my things and left the place, i didn’t even slept there, i just booked a normal hotel and went there to calm myself down because i didn’t feel safe.
Now i checked their reviews and i see that i am not the only one who complains about how rude the host is. I hope booking will check on this probrety and will give me condensation for the moral damage.

The space was clean, comfortable, and central. We were able to move freely without worrying about anything, it was great.
We were super impressed by the breakfast that came in the morning. It felt like real luxury and was delicious!
We would definitely stay again.
The ait conditioning didn't work and so, it was really stuffy and hot.
Also, the windows were not completely soundproof, so as you can imagine, on a Saturday night it was quite loud.

Clean, newly refurbished to a very high standard. Top quality.
Air conditioning was not working so a little warm and not possible to open the windows as it was extremely noisy - outside noise was very loud in the room despite the windows being tight shut. This meant lots of noise during the day as building work going on and then at night with people outside and early morning when traffic started flowing.

Very good location for where we needed to be. This is an unmanned set of rooms in a large old apartment building. We were a bit confused at first by reception all operating through WhatsApp messages, but whoever was on the other end was excellent and extremely helpful with our rather inane questions and responded to everything immediately. We spent two nights here. Shower presure was excelent.
The air-conditioning in our room did not work at all and needs re-gassing.
The form that we were emailed two days before we arrived was painful to fill in and asked for more details than it needed to. Also not easy to complete when you only have a phone to work off. And then this information was never received by the person who was remotely operating the reception via WhatsApp so had to send him pictures of passports, which was actually all that was needed.

The location was probably the best about this place
The rooms are already worn down quite a lot. The view from the windups was showing towards a dark wall - so no light was coming into the room. The bed was uncomfortable and made a lot of noise. The correspondence with Enrico was very unfriendly and not how you should speak to your customers. They wanted to force us to download WhatsApp before sending us the self check in information. One of the safes was broken so we couldn’t access our documents. The little fridge makes a lot of noise in the night. All in all it was really not a nice stay. For this price rather book yourself a hotel.

Location was pretty good, short walk to bus station which then takes you on to the metro lines into all the other islands.
Room was great size, super clean, but the 2nd shower head did not work & when advised the host nothing was really done about it.
We also had to ask for clean towels on our 2nd day as the cleaner had taken our dirty ones and not replaced them with any clean ones. The safe in the room was also useless, not working (again had to ask the host to fix it) was tiny and not bolted down, therefore could have just been picked up and taken - hardly a safe.
Apart from that the stay was great.

We reserved a presidential room, which is large and with good views.
The First is advertised in Booking as a hotel. It is not a hotel, it is a tourist flat, with several rooms, with not any personal service. This fact is not described in the Booking web. If I had know The First is a tourist flat with not any personal service, I would have chosen other place.
All the service is by WhatsApp. You should be able to follow the instructions the virtual host send to you to obtain the room keys from boxes that are near the elevator (the elevator only works with a key) and near the flat's door.
The breakfast is big but cold, there is not a coffee cup with it.

the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was okay
this is not a hotel, it shouldn’t be advertised as one. there is no staff, no reception, no bar, no restaurant, no facilities at all. there is just a door on the street into an old building which is shabby to say the least. the lift is tiny to take you up to the main door where you will get a code to find your room key. once inside it is literally a corridor with 6/8 rooms and that’s it. if you want to rent a room for the night you’ll be ok but probably be kept awake by traffic noise and the bar underneath you!
