We had an awesome stay at Beach House Cambodia. Gavin, the manager was absolutely fantastic. No request was too difficult, and daily meals and activities were offered to guests, including an awesome kayak tour where we saw some great snorkelling and secluded swimming sports. Day trips were easy to organise. The common room was an awesome spot to relax, and the free kayak and snorkel hire was so handy. The best part of our stay, was that it was my partner’s birthday, and Gavin organised an incredible meal for us, catering to her dietary requirements. This was such a great night, it is something we will never forget. Absolutely stay at Beach House, it is an awesome spot in an incredible location.

Tutto. Posizione fantastica,sulla spiaggia,immerso nella natura. Ambiente tranquillo e rilassato. Acqua,caffè sempre a disposizione. La mia stanza sulla spiaggia assolutamente fantastica,con un bel terrazzo vista mare con amaca e poltrone..Letto comodo Chi ci lavora è sempre a disposizione e non invasivo. Me lo ricorderò per sempre questo luogo!

Abends war es zum Teil etwas laut vom Restaurant, aber üblicherweise war ab 23 Uhr Ruhe.

Beautiful setting on the beach with a nice restaurant/bar, pool table, kayaks and paddle boards to use for free. I stayed in one of the bungalows. Comfortable bed with mosquitoe net, private bathroom, hammock on the patio. The staff is very friendly, always willing to help! Yoga sessions in the morning to see the sun come up! Good wifi

The best location in M’pai bay. Nice terrace with comfortable chairs and good shade. Friendly staff.

A bit more effort in cleaning would be great, mosquito net is not good, ventilation in toilet didn’t work so it was smelly and humid frim the shower.

Cet endroit est le paradis . Nous y étions déjà en 2019 et y reviendrons . Beach House est un endroit confortable et convivial. La grande plage est absolument magnifique et quasi déserte . Nous avons passé une semaine fabuleuse

It‘s a lovely place for sure! The bay is great, the staff is very friendly and helpful, many chill out spots with a great view - overall we had a great stay and would probably come back! :)

There’s one important info future guests should know: Smoking is allowed basically everywhere and so the smoke is around you all day, starting with breakfast. This was quite bothersome and really shouldn’t be a thing anywhere anymore, tbh. A bit more cleanliness would be greatly appreciated when it comes to the rooms. Specifically floors, towels and bedsheets. It feels more like a hostel but with hotel prizes…

The best part was check out day! I couldn't wait to leave! There were paddle boards and kayaks to use for free. One staff member, Vito, actually cared.

On booking, I asked if there was a mattress or something I could use to sleep separately from my travel partner. The owner, Rob offered me an upgrade and so I said, great,Thanks! However, just before arriving, he messaged and withdrew the offer, said they got busy. So now cancellation day had already passed and I was due to sleep with my travel companion, which was awkward and she was not happy about. I messaged many times to see if there was a mattress I could use to sleep on the floor but never got a reply to this. We checked in and dealt with the situation, it was for 3 nights. The next day, Rob the owner, seemed to spring to life again and started messaging.....a lot.... excessively actually. I was feeding really unwell with an upset stomach and I hadn't slept well, in the same bed as someone I didn't know well and as I was on vacation I tried to stay off the phone. I sent Rob a message saying I didn't need to talk. He called me 6 times, my ringer was off. He continued to message. I was feeding very ill and very harassed. He sent over a staff member to confront me on why I didn't want to talk to him. I told him I was ill and feeling stressed and there was no need for the drama. The worker spoke to my friend and offered 2 solutions....another room that was infested with mice that they were going to put a cat in for a year to try to get rid of them and a downgrade of no A/C room, still with one bed, which she graciously declined, she felt these bizarre and was left shocked!! Continued messages and missed calls from Rob, who by this time was appearing more and more unhinged about the situation. I messaged again saying it was not necessary to speak. Rob then proceeded to cancel my reservation..... Very unstable behaviour and I had to report it to booking, they were also going to report him and sent me a link to leave this review, which I'm sure Rob didn't want to happen.

The location is perfect, almost at the end of the beach, so there is not much movement of people. The common areas were nice, peaceful, and a great place to meet new people. We loved joining the "family dinner" and the free yoga class. The staff was super nice and helpful.

It would be good to change the curtain of the bathroom to give more privacy. Also, the restaurant was a bit messy (long waiting times and some mistakes).

Erst einmal muss man erwähnen, dass man hier in eine familiäre Umgebung kommt. Jeder sofort herzlich willkommen. Die Ehrenamtlichen und fest Angestellten sind super herzlich. Das Frühstück ist lecker, ausreichend und vielseitig.  Du kannst in eine Telegramm Gruppe kommen und über alles Auskunft erfahren. Das ist sehr von Vorteil. Es gibt einen kleinen Tresor, den du mit deinem mitgebrachten Schloss benutzen kannst, um deine Wertsachen zu deponieren. Der Wasserdruck der Dusche ist ausreichend. Das Wifi Netz ist hervorragend. Dass es jeden Tag chillige Musik gab, war wunderbar. Es gibt eine Küchennische, in der du dir Kaffee und Tee machen kannst. Beides ist immer vorhanden. Einheimische und Gäste der Insel sind bemüht die Insel sauber zu halten. Das gelingt leider nicht immer und deshalb entsteht der Eindruck, dass es vermüllt ist. Das ist aber nicht so. Vom Steg aus ist die Unterkunft wenige 100 m, ein wunderschöner Platz zum entspannen für Familien und Alleinreisende. Ich persönlich mag die lokale Küche mehr als die der Unterkünfte aber das ist mein persönliches empfinden. Alle dort sind bemüht, den Aufenthalt so traumhaft wie möglich zu gestalten und das gelingt auch. Ruhezeiten werden immer eingehalten. Ab 23:00 Uhr ist Schlafenszeit.

das Moskitonetz über dem Bett ist in die Jahre gekommen und sollte mal wieder gewaschen oder erneuert werden. Das Licht im Badezimmer könnte etwas heller sein, es ist nichts für eine Frau, die sich schminken will.

The beach house is a beautiful guesthouse literally right on the beach gorgeous place and views. Lovely couple who manage the place and really friendly and helpful staff. The room was boutique clean with good facilities and really comfortable. The breakfasts were really tasty and big. Can't recommend this place enough! Go and check it out!!!

We planned three nights and endet up staying nine because we absolutely fell in love with the place! The rooms are beautiful and there is plenty of space to sit in the communal area with a pool table, board games, yoga mats, sports equipment, good music, cheap drinks and incredible ice cream! But the best thing is the crew! We loved the place and will always come back, thank you for having us! 🤗

The beach is not the most beautiful in the world, but it’s still nice and the hostel absolutely makes up for it!

Exceptional stay at the Beach House! The staff made me feel welcomed from the start, providing arrival information in advance. The room was superb, offering all the beach house comforts. Just a few steps away is the beach and it's soothing to hear the waves when falling asleep at night. Bonus point: There is a family dinner every evening and there is even a vegan option. Highly recommended!

The room had a slight dampness, which I assume is coming from the high air humidity during the rainy season and the proximity to the beach

The room we had on the ground floor was lovely - aircon, mosquito net, robes and towels provided. We had an issue with mosquitos in the bathroom of the room and straight away they sprayed our room and have give incense to ward off the little buggers! The breakfast they offer is second to none - absolutely massive portions so you won’t need any lunch! Was a great experience - thank you!! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Cannot rate this place highly enough, super chilled out and friendly, comfortable room and loved the 'family dinner' each night. Beautiful view over the bay, incredible beaches and waterfall nearby.

Magical place - will 100% be coming back. Location is beautiful, staff are so friendly and always helpful, suggesting things to do, beaches and places to eat. Perfect for backpackers, solo travellers, friends and/ or couples. Family dinners were absolutely delicious too and vegan friendly.

Bizarre obeisance by the landlord to the rules about the ban on election drinking when the rest of the place ignored them, well someone else made money rather than them.

Beautiful location on the beach. The room was spacious with a lovely balcony. The facilities mentioned, such as kettle, fridge, etc. are all in a shared kitchen, but that was fine. Nice staff. M'Pai Bay is such a wonderful place, too, which made it perfect.

Being on the beach

We booked a room with a kitchen. There wasn't one. No internet in the very small room. High areas black with dirt. No fan. Uncomfortable chairs on the tiny balcony (one broke).. Lots of mosquitos that left us covered in lumps. No garbage collection from the shared kitchen for three days. Basically, nowhere near the standard of Thailand but more expensive!

Atmosphere and location are superb. Friendly staff, close to everything you need and I met some fantastic people - staff included. I didn't want to leave!

Great value for money. Lovely staff l. Great tour offered . The food was delicious. Got to use the kayaks for free and free yoga was offered. Lovely relaxing stay.

The bar ran out of supplies and the cocktails weren’t great. We were told that dinner was free for us staying by one of the staff however we were then charged at the end for them.

I came for 2 nights and I’ve spent there almost a week. The rooms are super nice and comfortable, the beach is gorgeous and the staff is super friendly and super cool. Yoga every morning, kayaks, paddle surf boards for free. A 10 🫶🏻
