Love the feel and how close it is to everything. Nice and quiet and plenty of space inside and out.
The air-conditioner struggled and the rooms were hot but would be lovely in the cooler months

Beautiful location, lovely outside space (front and back), everything you'd need for a stay.
Lovely shower.
Nice surprise of a bottle of wine and breakfast pack left for us.
Close to the Platypus viewing area and the Curtain Fig Tree.

Perfect location, close to markets and restaurants. Breakfast and complementary wine was a nice bonus.

Homely and comfortable
Pity about the rain so we couldn't enjoy the lovely patios

The location is within easy walking distance of the township of Yungaburra. Any imperfections the property may have just gave it the homely feel. My wife and I enjoyed the stay immensely and it was good to light the fireplace to keep warm at night.
We didn't find any issues with the property.

the location and the breakfast and wine
it has a musty smell especially in the twin room. the back door doesn’t lock properly and the towels were very old and the queen bed was really uncomfortable.

Great little place in a fabulous location. The gardens are lovely.
It was ridiculously hot when we stayed (abnormally so for the area and the time of year apparently) and the aircon doesn’t quite make it into the bedrooms. There are ceiling fans but it was still very hot in the bedrooms. Only ever going to be an issue in ridiculously hot weather!

very pleasant and comfy cottage,
cottage was VERY hot when we arrived AC hadn't been turned on - took a while to cool down

it was clean, neat and comfortable situated in a quiet street close to town.
Even though the cottage is comfortable it is looking a bit tired and just needs a few things done to keep a standard. the back door doesn’t lock, need for a shelf in the shower and it isn’t compliant with the smoke alarms.

Large airy windows overlooking a lovely garden.
Advertised a high chair and dryer but did not provide either.
Also no hot water on the last night / morning. Had to have a cold shower.

Nice layout with pretty garden. Quiet neighbourhood.
Very well-worn. Badly needs updating

Almost everything was perfect.
Sadly the beds were needing attention.

It was lovely to not have to worry about getting supplies for breakfast thus being able to settle in, go out for dinner, and get supplies the next day.
I found the mattress in the main bedroom to be alright but not really comfortable and I know the lounge area is small but a comfortable lounge would be good.

Great location, nice layout
Probably go for 2 bathrooms next stay

beautiful little country side cottage, close to the shops and in a very quiet street.
thank you for the breakfast hamper and bottle of wine.
I would highly recommend travellers to stay at this lovely place.
one little thing i didn't like.... there is no lid on the rubbish bin which is located somewhere between the lounge room and dining room. i personally wouldn't leave a bin without lid as its attract unwanted bugs.

The cottage was comfortable, relaxing and well equipped. As we were up for the markets, you couldn't ask for a closer accommodation!
The main bedroom curtains need a little update.
Perhaps the back patio could have see through roofing over the table area so you can still eat there when it rains?

Overall was a great place to stay in a great location.
Would be better with black out curtains in living room window and second bedroom window. Blind chain in kitchen not secured to wall (strangulation hazard for small children). But these issues are only very nit picky problems.

Great location, very cosy, lovely lush green plants around the property & birds everywhere, very generous breakfast provisions & bathroom supplies. Good size for a family of 3 for a short stay. Love the older Queenslander style with the beautiful windows.
Space was very hot when we arrived & took several hours to cool down. The aircon finds it hard to reach the bedrooms & the fans aren't very effective in the afternoon heat unfortunately. Floor timber around toilet & shower base needs attention, & the bathroom sink could do with some fresh timber too. These are small quibbles & overall the cottage is charming & great value!

Miss Bullen's was a very quaint little cottage. There was a veranda out the front and a lovely front yard.
The rear has a backyard with a huge deck and a large table and chairs.
There was a very generous welcome pack of food, including bacon and eggs and bread and even a bottle of wine! :)
The property was a short (a 10 minute slow walk through the park) to the centre of town.
Yungaburra is a very quaint town and has kept a lot of it's old buildings. The pub is one of the grand old style of yesteryear.
The second bedroom didn't have blinds so we had to hang up a blanket.
There are several DVDs but no DVD player - maybe it broke?
Like most places, the TV was only small (about 60cm/24in). With my eyesight I need a large TV or I have to sit very close.

Wonderful little cottage, clean, neat and tidy. Breaky and bottle of wine were a wonderful touch to a fantastic stay.
Wish there was an extra towel or two, towels didn't dry in the cooler weather.

It is a quaint little cottage with beautiful gardens.
The wine was very nice.
Only the awning is covered on the veranda. Due to the rain, which didn’t stop the entire time we were there, it was a cold and wet time. The firewood was uncovered so it was damp and very difficult to light, so we had to buy our own wood and fire starters.
We expected a dryer, which would have come in handy with the constant rain, but there was only a washing machine. We managed to dry our clothes in front of the wood fire.

This cute cottage was situated perfectly to explore the Atherton Tablelands. It was clean, comfortable, had a gorgeous yard & the hosts left lots of little extras.
All wonderful although there isn't a dishwasher.

Location
Bed in main room very uncomfortable. No soap holder in shower. Mouldy chair and no light cover in shower, only superficially clean. Back door didnt latch. Many other things showing general lack of TLC

Single beds very comfortable, beautiful gardens, bbq, washing machine, fire place, well equipped.
Mould in bathroom tiles, old mattress on Queen bed, floor rotting in bathroom, back deck un-usable due to rainy climate and no proper roof over it, everything was wet.
