Asked at the checkin if it's possible to pay when leaving. Answer yes. At 10 o clock at night we got woken up to pay right now for the room.

Despite the negative check-in, the property was clean and did the trick for a one day stop-over. Beds were very comfy and the kitchen had free filtered water.

It took us 15 minutes to check-in because they wanted us to pay 200Q instead of the stated 169Q that was agreed on Booking.com. The young receptionist also called us “gringos” to his colleague over the phone in a negative way. I know it’s a part of the backpacking experience to get called that, but usually it is done with a smile and a wink, and I did not expect the negative tone from a “professional” hotel. It soured our stay.

Lovely furnishings and good airflow from screened windows. Great central location and easy to find as sign on street. Great common areas on balcony. Beautiful flowers and a fish pond. Drinking water provided. They let us leave luggage until afternoon when we checked out.

No hot water when I tried the shower but might have been because it was night.
