La tranquilidad. Se descansa muy bien. El desayuno muy bien y el anfitrión muy simpático y amable.Nos sugirió lugares para visitar y restaurantes y bares para comer, cenar…y tomarnos alguna copa. Seguimos sus consejos y acabamos encantados.

The host and his wife keep an immaculate clean comfortable hotel. They are charming. The quality of bedding is superb and the breakfast is second to none.

The location off the main highway, the village and the castle. Mainly the hospitality which was so welcoming and thoughtful. The rooms are beautifully done and the breakfast prepared personally by the owners and served in the shared space was outstanding.
We decided last minute to find a location outside of the bigger towns on our way from Madrid to Alicante and picked Alarcon. Wow! It was just pretty and unique and the best experience.
It’s not possible to have anything negative to say about this hotel, the people, the location, the hospitality.

Nice location in a very quaint hilltop village. The Hotel is quite quirky in a nice way with some unusual decor and furnishings. The room was nice, bed was comfy and the bathroom was pretty good. No complaints.
Breakfast was, well, unusual and small with very little choice. We were asked if we would like fruit and we expected melon, banana, berries, some yoghourt perhaps. What we got was an apple (one!), peeled and cut into slices. It was a very nice apple but not really what you expect when you have fruit for breakfast. There was one bread roll each, we asked for another. Considering the price this was a pretty mean breakfast and it's not as if you can have breakfast elsewhere in the village because it's as dead as a dodo.

Friendly owners, great breakfast. They even helped us find a place for us to have lunch when almost everything was closed.

Owners very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was exceptional with some lovely homemade cake and marmalade. Bedroom very cosy with heating and cooling facilities. Not the biggest of bedrooms but more than adequate. Big smart TV on wall although only Spanish channels. Plenty of free parking within 50 metres. José advised that only the Parador available for dinner. He and his wife Luisa offered to make us and other guests a range of tapas style dishes. These were excellent. Owners had plenty of anti-covid precautions in place, including sanitiser for our hotel keys and mobile phones. The guest lounge had air cleansing equipment. Highly recommended. Bear in mind the owners speak no English.

What we had was excellent but there was no choice. Breakfast area very comfortable. Hosts really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. All the breakfast was home made. Loved the cake and marmalade.
The only downside was that there was no bar which would have been nice in the evening so that we could have sat and relaxed. I assume that this was because we were out of tourist season
