It is right on the harbour side which is just beautiful. The restaurant is lovely with amazing seafood!

Staff were friendly and the room was quiet.

Unfortunately we didn't have a positive experience at the Anchor Hotel. The room was incredibly small. It was impossible to fill the kettle in the tiny sink. More worryingly, the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. We found what looked like dog biscuits scattered on the carpet, bathroom dirt had just been mopped to the side with dirt and hairs accumulated next to the skirting board. There was a smell of wet dog in the room. The room was very cold on arrival but did warm up once we put the additional small heater on.

It's situated in a coastal village where you can enjoy the sea view within a few steps. The staff were really good and the rooms were squeaky clean. There were different props in the hotel themed on sea life which looked good.

The rooms were small in size. The bathroom especially the shower cabin needs some work.

The staff were very helpful, friendly and we were greeted with a warm welcome . We had an evening meal which was lovely although hubby had to change his choice due to unavailability of produce (mussels) which wasn't a great problem as plenty to choose from. Location is great a very short stroll to the harbour. Lady who cooked and served breakfast was lovely and friendly a true star. She made us feel very welcome and nothing seemed like too much trouble.

Room was small but adequate, clean and well equipped. WiFi kept going off, but being on break to get away from it all...not a big deal.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing, room for the kids off the main bedroom and two tvs! Good was absolutely amazing. Can not fault anything at all!!
