It was so nice at the end of the day to come “home” to this comfortable, attractive accommodation. I hadn’t shopped yet and was surprised to find a welcoming basket with bread fruit butter jam wine etc. Saved me the stress. 4 minutes to shops but with a country vibe

We are greatly impressed and it is well worth the money and the location which is only two minutes away from Strath. We will definitely be back. Marcus is a wonderful host and understands couple who want a quality experience and those who will look after and respect the property. The gardens are delightful, and the birdlife is prolific. It is quiet and the clean air is so calming.

I booked this stay for my grandparents, I visited them both night of their stay and they where both absolutely wrapped with the place. An amazing little spot for a getaway. Has absolutely everything you would want and need, very very clean!! Booking again very soon!

My partner and myself enjoyed a 3 night stay. The accommodation was very clean and had everything that you would need to enjoy your stay. The food hamper was well stocked to enable us to cook a good breakfast each day and enjoy an evening wine and cheese. We could not fault the accommodation in any way and would recommend it. We would definitely use it again in the future when visiting relatives in the town.

Quiet, beautiful garden setting with spacious and comfy accommodation. Very private but only a couple of minutes drive from Strathalbyn. The welcome hamper was exceptional.

Enjoyed a couple nights away for a wedding near-by. Marcus was a great host and was great that he could assist with transport from the function. Very nice old school car! The welcome pack of food and goodies was also very generous. Would recommend.

Such a perfect place to stay, all boxes were ticked! Beautifully presented, so clean and tidy, with so many added little luxuries, from fresh farm produce to superbly comfy bed, complete with designer linen. Brilliant location. Just perfect. We will be back!

We were impressed by this property, it was even nicer than what we had thought from the details online! Marcus thoughtfully provided some breakfast/snacking provisions which meant we didn't have to go right back out to the supermarket. The property was peaceful, we loved being out of the town area. It felt clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. It was a nice bonus that the table expanded to allow board games to fit!

My Mum, Brother & I enjoyed our time at Balavil on Lines. The accommodation was clean, tasteful decorated & well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable weeks stay. Marcus is a polite & approachable host who made sure our needs were met & our stay was comfortable. The welcome basket was lovely & we enjoyed all the delicious contents including a full dozen of double yolk eggs. The beds & pillows were very comfortable & I’m even considering getting a Koala mattress for myself now. I loved the wing backed chairs. They were just the right size for me to sit in comfortably so I’m also putting one of these on my wish list. The property is well situated & central to all areas & attractions of interest for tourists. We found the locals to be friendly & obliging. We enjoyed the Xmas light display just up the road & lights on the tree in the well kept gardens outside the holiday house. Some suggestions for improvement include providing BBQ tools, & ice cube trays. We ended up buying our own long handled tongs & ice trays at Woolies. My Mum stayed in the guest suite on side of the main house & absolutely adored the ensuite bathroom so one like this is on her wish list now. She did mention that a welcome addition to the suite would be a small bar fridge & coffee/tea making facilities so she could have had refreshments when retiring to her room for the night or first thing in the morning before making her way over to the house. Overall or stay was enjoyable & I’d recommend Balavil to others. Thankyou Marcus.

Quiet and spacious location, very comfortable with everything and more at hand.

Arrived to find a very clean venue with everything you need and more. Saw the owner once mowing the lawns when we arrived. Minutes to Strathalbyn and ten to Langhorne Creek. Very quiet and relaxing. A must do.

Such a lovely property and wonderful hospitable people. Our accomodation was really great ... everything you could want was there. Plenty of storage space in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom which I love. A beautiful basket on arrival was provided with great goodies ... we felt very spoilt. Tastefully decorated rooms with very comfortable beds (second room was across the drive with its own entrance) Marcus and family were also happy to pick us up and drive us to lunch and wineries - really amazing service! Would love to stay here again. Thankyou for a wonderful long weekend getaway :)

Great location and close to all services and shops

My husband & I chose this stay primarily due to the price, but it exceded all our expectations! We walked into a exceptionally clean, open space where no shortcuts were made. We loved a surprise generous hamper complete with local wine & a fridge stocked with breakfast goodies. This has been the most pleasant Stayz accommodation we've had for a long time!

Celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary and found exactly what we were looking for. A great basket of breakfast supplies, wine, cheese and biscuits on arrival. Everything was immaculate and in a quiet area. Bed was great and Netflix and WiFi a bonus. Air conditioning was amazing considering the 42 degree temperature. Would recommend.

This property was beautifully clean and welcoming. It was quiet and peaceful. A kangaroo jumped past one morning at breakfast! A lovely retreat from city life and well worth a visit. Highly recommend
