Lovely decor and art throughout the house. Great to have a sauna after a long drive, and the centre of Honfleur was only a couple of minutes' walk away.

The advertised description thought may be strictly ok, but you be unpleasantly surprised to discover that the kitchen and dining room are on the ground floor, then on the next floor (1st ) there is shower/toilet and the living room, Then on the next floor (2nd), there is another toilet/shower and the main bedroom. Then on the 3rd floor (yes!) there is a ridiculously described as a bedroom with a double bed and two single beds under a half height under the roof room. Horribly hot in summer, impossible to sleep for us and our 2 kids. A fan was available to compensate but really horrible. Next (danger points) The house seems to have been built by an artist without any knowledge of building security. The width of the stairs are barely large to fit a normal size person. A big fat person will never be able to climb any stairs. You will be humiliated if you are fat - so avoid. The wifi box was installed in a suitcase and can catch fire anytime. The kitchen stove is installed next to an oversized refrigerator which is against any design rules. The is no hood on the stove. Well I would banned this rental from Booking.com if ever this was site visited by a qualifies personnel. Overall do not get pleasantly surprised by the said artistic and lovely (overcrowded) decorations, they are maybe there to distract you. There is even a big hifi system with 2 big loudspeakers but no amplifier. So just taking space there. We wanted to cancel on the same day but owners refused. They were made aware about this honest feedback.
