The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed having our morning coffee out there, waking up and going to bed to beautiful views. The homeowner recommended great restaurants and things to do for our family. The house was super clean, spacious, and we just loved being there. We can’t wait to book again next year. Would Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice vacation on the lake!

The host was responsive, the arrival/departure process was very straightforward/smooth, great location with a beautiful view, great deck overlooking the lake for morning coffee and very close to activities in Saratoga Springs!

This was a great location!!!! The lakehouse was great, the views were great, and the location was great!!!!! Check in was a BREEZE! Later checkout was amazing. We spent 5 amazing days on the lake and it couldn’t have gone any better, between the early morning and evening views, to the late night star gazing - and of course the annual 2 days at SPAC for DMB (which was about an 11 minute ride) - highly recommend this property! We will be back!

We enjoyed having coffee on the deck, the views of the lake are incredible. The location was awesome easy access to SPAC, track, the town, etc...Pantelis is very easy to deal with and responsive.

The perfect spot for morning coffee and happy hour cocktails. We did experience some hiccups during our stay, but the owner was available and did his best to accommodate us.

The rental was very nice and peaceful, the lake views are incredible. The host was very responsive and took care of any issues right away.

There were some issues with the property that the homeowner did resolve. I don't think they were quite prepared for a winter guest (this is typically a summer resort), but he did make amends. The location and view are awesome.

The views are wonderful and tranquil. The neighbors were very kind and offered plenty of suggestions for restaurants to try and fun places to go. Pantelis was very accessible and had a property manager stop by on the first night to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable.

As other reviewers have said, the pictures of this house don’t do it justice. The panoramic view from the front room and the deck were a balm to the soul with all the crazy pandemic isolation we have had to deal with. Any problems we had were minor—grill was out of propane, for example—and Pantelis was quick to sort them out. We slept soundly in the peaceful quiet of the neighborhood, and the neighbors were friendly and welcoming. Like others, I recommend bringing your water shoes as the lake bottom is rocky. However the water is shallow and warm, and there are lots of bass, so if you like fishing, this will be great fun for you. A big thank you to Pantelis for his hospitality!!

This property had a beautiful. There were more than ample accommodations from AC, linens to a full spice closet. You should contact the owner about use of the lake prior to booking. Very convenient to the race track and lots of restaurant options.

We couldn’t have had a better stay. The house was better in person than the photos which says a lot. The views were absolutely stunning while the house was incredibly clean and true to the online description. Pantelis checked in on us to ensure everything was perfect. I could not have asked for a better host and home. The location was perfect as well. 10 minutes to the track, 10 minutes to downtown, 10 minutes to anything you’d need. We’ll be making the trip and stay at this home a tradition moving forward each summer. Thank you Pantelis for everything!

My family and I enjoyed a fabulous 4th of July week at The Halcyon House on Saratoga Lake. We rent vacation homes often and this was definitely one of the best. It was perfectly stocked with all necessary things: linens, cleaning supplies, cookware and even spices! Pantelis was kind enough to check in on us and provided all the information we needed to check in and depart smoothly. We enjoyed watching fireworks from the amazing deck, kayaking in the easily accessible lake, and zip lining at Mountain Ridge! We highly recommond the Halcyon House!

House was very charming. Views are spectacular. Very peaceful mornings having coffee on the deck. Owner was terrific. Saratoga, what can you say, It's the August place to be!

Lovely home, the kitchen is well stocked with pans etc, and the view is amazing in any weather. We saw 22 different birds just sitting on the deck.

My wife and I rented this home for a long weekend to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary, and it was great. The view is spectacular, the pictures are accurate, and the home had all the amenities you would need. It is located about 10 minutes outside Saratoga, easy trip. It is quiet and very peaceful. It was easy to get in and get out, and the directions were spot on. Pantelis kept in touch with us throughout the weekend if we needed anything, which we didn't. We highly recommend the Halcyon House and hope to stay here again.

We had a nice little 4 night getaway here. The views from the upper deck are incredible. The house is comfortable and well stocked. New clean appliances and kitchen. A/C helped when the sun was blazing onto the house. Clearly the property is undergoing improvements. The waterfront is a little difficult to navigate, but once a bit offshore there was nice swimming to be had. Must have water shoes to get through the rocks. I think the owner intends to improve the shoreline which would be a welcome improvement.

We spent two weeks in this lovely apartment while the ballet was in Saratoga. What an incredible view. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. We watched the moon rise in the evening and canoed on the lake every day. We hope to return next summer.

Our stay at this home on Saratoga Lake was wonderful. The house comfortably fit 7 people, with room for a twin air mattress in the living room. Pantelis gave clear and concise directions for how to get to and enter the house. He was available throughout our stay by phone, in case we had any questions. The house was clean, as expected, upon arrival. The house was full of conveniences like paper towels, toliet paper, napkins, and plenty of cookware. The appliances were all great as well. All these things allowed us to cook all of our meals and spend the most amount of time together (while saving money). There was a nice big dining room table that sat all 7 of us for dinners! The views from the deck were just perfect. We really spent our entire stay on the deck, from morning until night. If we weren't on the deck we were in the lake. That being said, entry into the lake was a little dicey using the steps to this property. Most properties have docks or small beach entry, but being that this property is on a hill, there are steep steps that go down to the lake, and just sort of end on a small rocky patch. It was doable for myself and my friends, but would be a little difficult for young kids. Also - for anyone reading this who may swim in the lake, bring water shoes. The rocks and slate in this lake are sharp and easily slice up feet. This lakeside neighborhood was welcoming and wonderful. It was nice to be in a peaceful and serene place where people live year round, and allowed for a nice and peaceful retreat. We were close to Saratoga Race Track (10 min) and Lake George (35 min), both of which we visited easily! There is a grocery store less than 10 minutes away which was great for everything we needed. Though we spent a majority of our time outdoors, the house's central air was amazing for those who needed to cool off. It was a nice break from the 90 degree days we had when it was needed. we had a great trip here with our friends. We are a couple and brought our 2 year old and another couple friend. The kitchen was lovely, and we cooked meals on the grill and ate outside. The view was our favorite part - probably the tallest deck around us, and so we could hang out and sun and no one nearby would even see us! It was lovely. Pantelis was easy to work with and was easily available for questions. The house was clean and comfortable, and the lake was warm! The neighborhood road was really nice for strolling down, and we went for several nice walks. I would definitely recommend this house!

Rented this house to propose to my girlfriend at sunset on Saratoga Lake. The owner was great about everything before, during and after my stay. The views of the lake are amazing, and the place was spotless. Would love to go back in a heartbeat!

First time to Saratoga and it certainly lived up to they hype! Spent a long weekend at this house with my wife and dog (much more room than we needed... could easily sleep 6). The house was in great shape and in a great location in a quiet lakeside community. It is up on a hill and has a beautiful view of the lake from the living room and deck. Pantelis, the owner, was absolutely amazing to coordinate with. He was very responsive, friendly, offered suggestions on where to rent a boat and even left us a bottle of wine! Speaking of wine, we were in town for the Saratoga Food & Wine Festival, which was a phenomenal event. The house is about a 10 minute car ride into town. We would suggest it to anyone!
