Stunning location with breathtaking view on the sea. Great place to let down your hair and unwind.

One of the best vacation we ever had. Fantastic sparkling clean location with an amazing breathtaking sea view from its terrace. Very cozy apartment, great furnitures “Sardinian Style” with hand made cotto tiles, big bathroom with huge stone shower. At night, the heating system worked very well. Matteo and Monica welcomed us in a very friendly way and gave us many suggestions about what to do and where to go. In novembre it is so quite, just a few tourists on the beach. We went hiking in the wild mountain near Tempio Pausania. Great placet o unwind and relax, higly suggested.

From the very first minute, we fell in love by Alma del Mar and we realized that we were in a five star accommodation, and that the reality was well above any reasonable expectations. Very well arranged , sparkling clean, many amenities, amazing sea view from the terrace, great Weber grill and 3/4 minutes by foot from the famous white sand Ira Beach . What a “Dolce Vita” , get up in the morning , lovely stone shower and relaxon the terrace sipping a good Italian coffee on the terrace with a breathtaking view. Amazing sunrise and sunset moments (unforgettable - see photos) The host with his efficient team, were really wonderful, friendly, warm and very helpful, very kind hearted, they did anything to make our staying pleasant: they really went the extra mile ! They always made us feel at home. It’s really without any doubt a great place to be to relax and too unwind, every moment we spent at Alma del Mar will be etched in our memory for ever. Thank you very much Alma del Mar for making our vacation amazing and unforgettable. We look forward to returning again soon.

It has been one of the best vacation we ever had. Very charming location in a quite area just a few meters from the sea shore. Hand made tuscany cotto tiles inside the house and in the huge terrace facing the water, huge stone shower. Fully equipped - state of the art - kitchenette, with Weber grill we used to cook meat, fish and vegetbles. Monica and Matteo, a five stars staff that welcomed us with a cold sparkling wine, fruit platter, local sardinian cookies, and were available 24/24 for every our needs, requirements or just a simple information. The time flew away and filled our heart and soul in a way that no other location did. Really Soul of The Sea. Bravissimi !!

My husband and I were looking for a place to unwind and relax. We choose Alma del Mar and we could not have choosen a better location. Sparkling clean house, very cozy, state of the art TV Bang & Olufsen, new furniture, hand made floor cotto and bathroom / kitchen tiles, fully equipped . We spent hours sitting in the terrace facing the ocean and relaxing with the only noise available: the sea ebb and flow and the bloowing of the wind. what a tale. Wonderful fully equipped location facing the sea . Breathtaking view from huge terrace . No cars , no noises , just the blowing of the wind and ebb and flow from the pristine emerald sea . No words to describe how cozy and warm atmosphere we felt from the very beginning . The staff very professional and always ready to give us useful details and advices about restaurants and white beaches . Boat tour and wine tour of an amazing beauty. Highly recommended if you wish to relax and unwind .

From the very beginning my wife and I fell in love with his amazing location. We appreciated that after the online booking, we immediately got in touch with the host that sent us a copy of the brochure with the list of all useful information about Alma Del Mar, and asked us how and what he could arrange for us in order to make our vacation perfect. When we got there, we met Monica waiting for us , with her lovely Sardinian smile that welcomed us with many delicious amenities (fruit and cheese basket, sparkling Italian wine and different gadgets - 5 star treatement). The flat was very clean, great furniture quality, big cozy stone shower, big confortable bed and a huge terrace facing the sea (better to say in the sea - just a few meters away) with a breathtaking view on the best luxury yachts moored just in from of us. The host gave us many indictions about white pristine beaches, best restaurants and shops. He Also arranged a fabulous boat tour at La Maddalena stopping in the best places with and incredible emerald water (better then Maldives or Carabbien). All went very well and we look forward to returning soon, we really felt to be at home. Grazie Alma del Mar, we will remember you when back to Canada during our long cold winter . Steven and Claire

Alma del mar is an excellent apartment in a lovely position with a beautiful view. The cleanliness was superb and the apartment was really well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved all the little extras left for us as a welcome gift. It's a few minute walk from Ira beach where you can enjoy lovely white sand and crystal clear water. There are so many beaches to explore a short drive away and lots of excellent restaurants in the area to try. Thanks to Matteo for all your superb advice and recommendations.

Everything at Alma del Mar was perfect, it has been an experience of luxury at its peak. The apartment an absolute architecture masterpiece: the details , the quality of furnitures, the warm tuscany cotto tiles, the comfort. Very cozy flat with a breathtaking sea view from the big terrace, the bathroom was spacious , the kitchen was very well equipped: even the ivory cutlery impressed us ( French handcraft - Laguiole). From the bedroom we had been cuddled by the relaxing noise of the sea waves just a few meters away: what a dream, a real lullaby. The host extremely friendly and helped us in arranging amazing sea and wine tours and best restaurants. In our personal opinion, surely the best location in Porto Rotondo. We highly recommend Alma Del Mar . Andrew

My husband and I have stayed at numerous similar establishments in Sardinia over the years and this was by far the best: everything was spotless, sparkling clean, very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Staying at Alma del Mar exceeded all our expectations. The hosts Aldo and Monica, went out of their way to do absolutely everything we requested. “Thank You” for making our stay exceptional. They were exceptionally friendly and highly professional. They are dedicated to their work and this translates into a wonderful experience for guests. Although it was the end of autumn, the heating system was perfect and all the rooms were nicely warm. The sea view from the terrace – well just superb and magnificent. The silk linen was crisp and the decor lovely. The fully equipped kitchen with: Weber bbp, the microwave oven, the fridge and kettle with tea/coffee facilities proved to be very useful. Even the hairdryer was a good powerful one, not the usual ineffective low voltage ones. The bathroom was beautiful and stylish with its unique huge stone shower. See you soon Alma del Mar. Right place to relax and unwind, we loved sipping a glass of good Sardinian white wine overlooking the sea with the sun disappearing over the horizon, we even saw a pod of dolphins frolicking very close to the shore. You can not put a price on that. Huge stone-shower and the bed was so comfortable and massive. Staff amazingly helpful and attentive. We didn’t want to live. Andrew

A fairy tale came true is the only proper definition of this vacation that my husband Luca and I spent at Alma del Mar. Our expectations about the location went well above what we thought browsing in booking.com Very cozy flat, very well arranged, state of the art fornitures, we loved to walk barefoot in the house feeling all the positive energy coming from the precious Tuscany cotto tiles, amazing bathroom with a unique huge stone shower, breathtaking sea-view from the terrace, Soft silk linen. My husband and I felt to be in a fairy tale dream that came true from the very first minute we entered Alma del Mar. We spent hours admiring the ebb and flow of the sea - no further than 50 meters from the house. One day we admired the Amerigo Vespucci, the school sailing boat used by the Italian Navy, that moored just in front of Alma del Mar and stayed three days. Amazing the night view of this boat, lighted with the three colors of the italian flag (white, red and green). The host Aldo was very friendly and with his very professional staff ( Monica and Claudia) made our vacation very intense and suggested us the best restaurants, beaches, wine tour and organaized an unforgettable boat tour at the Maddalena island with Captain Matteo. We deeply sugged Alma del Mar if you are looking for peace, quiteness, beauty and a place to recharge your soul. We do remember very well what Aldo told us the first time we contact him: "if you are looking for a place only to sleep, Alma del Mar is not your place, but if you are looking for a place to dream, Alma del Mar is with no doubt your place". My husband and I got married in March (this year) in Sydney, and we had booked our honeymoon journey in Europe at least one year before. Due to the corona virus lockdown, we had to cancel all our flights and hotels to Paris, London and Sardinia Island Italy - losing a lot of money because they did not refund or partially refund us. I am pleased to say that only Alma del Mar, through his host Aldo, sent us back the entire amount without any delay! Once the lockdown had been lifted, we re-planned our honeymoon, booking flights and hotels and avoiding the ones that did not refund us. But we made the reservation again at Alma del Mar. We flew Qatar Airways to Rome and from Rome we flew Alitalia to Sardinia. Getting to Olbia was very easy and once landed, they just took our body temperature (that must be below 37,5 °C) as per post COVID-19 medical regulations and that was all. It was really a piece of cake and there were not further medical requirements. Our host Aldo , was waiting for us at the arrival hall and he welcomed us with a typical , warm, Italian smile and he drove us to Alma del Mar. The location was perfectly organised as per COVID-19 regulations and we were given a set of hygienic masks, disinfectants and hand sanitizer gel by Aldo. We immediatelly realised and appreciated that Aldo's main goal was to make our stay enjoyable, but most of all SAFE ! The bed was covered in soft silk linen and complimentary items in the bathroom and we were spoiled with soft and parfumed bathrobes and slippers. We were welcomed with a delightful fruit-cheese platter with chilled Sardinian sparkling white wine in the fridge. All shops, beaches, bars, restaurants in Porto Rotondo were open and perfectely arranged. They ran as per COVID-19 regulations, which means that all personnel wore masks and social distancing was observed. We highly recommend Alma del Mar for people looking for peace and quite and a place to just relax and unwind. Carol & Jhon Jackson

Short vacation, but for sure , we come back again .

My husband and I, spent a few days at Alma del Mar, and the vacation had been really wanderful . The location and the house was already great from the photos, but when we got there it went straight above our expectations: located in a very quite area with big garden, very clean with typical old hand made cotto tiles, amazing woodden furnitures, very confortable king size bed, and and a big terrace with an amazing view on the sea that was just a few meters away (we spent a lot of time enjoying the breathtaking view: the only noise that was the ebb and flow of the sea and the pleasant breeze spreading in the air parfumes of the bushes and flowers. An early morning, we even saw some dolphins swimming close to the shore, what a magic day ! In june we spent a week in a house in the center of Porto Rotondo, it had been a nightmare becouse of the noise, never again ! We will go back to Alma del Mar for sure. Wish point out that the host - Aldo - had been very professional and suggested us the best places where to go. See you next year Alma del Mar.
