This was a cozy home away from home while spending time with a family member at Royal Jubilee. Walking distance to beaches & amenities and the hospital. Highly recommend!!

If you’re looking for a good spot to enjoy the Oak Bay neighborhood and see how the locals live, this is the property to book. Lots of good food nearby, including a fish-and-chips place blocks from the beach; great walking; friendly folk, etc. Melinda and Joe are the best!

Very convenient for visiting family in Oak Bay.

This unit is very clean and well maintained. Full size washer and dryer a bonus. Yard and surrounding are kept immaculate. Loads of 'extras' in the unit - cold beverages in the fridge on arrival and snacks. Great off street parking and short drive to services (Save On Foods and personal services). They provide recycling and compost bins in the unit which we appreciate as it aligns with our lifestyle. We were in Victoria for medical reasons and our hosts were compassionate and accommodating - felt like family. We will be back.

We stayed at Melinda's for 5 nights and loved it. It's clean, well stocked and quiet. The location was perfect. Beach, coffee shops, shopping all close by and only 15 minutes to Victoria. We would definitely stay again when in town.

We loved our time staying in Melinda’s suite in Oak Bay. The location is great in a quiet neighborhood with a 5 minute walk to local shops and parks. It’s also right next to the bus stop for a quick drive to downtown Victoria. 10 minutes walk and your on the beach. The suite itself was very clean with a lot of thoughtful touches such as toys left out for our daughter, snacks for everyone and chilled beers for us adults after a long days travelling. The laundry facilities were greatly appreciated and a well stocked kitchen meant we could cook some meals when not eating out. I would recommend Melinda’s place for anyone looking to stay in Oak Bay/Victoria.

The location of this suite is ideal - walking distance to the beach and to local shops and restaurants, and easy access to downtown and other areas. The suite is comfortable and has everything you need for a short or longer stay.

We loved our time here. Such a great location with restaurants and beaches near by and a great yard for our dog. We'll be back!

Very comfortable - liking walking into a family home. Very good prior contact with Melinda allowed us to arrive and move in with ease. The suite was roomy, welcoming and fully outfitted. We felt comfortable and safe at all times. We would not hesitate to return, and enjoy a Victoria holiday again.

This property was just as it was listed on the website. Great location, we had our dog, and enjoyed walking to Willows Beach from the suite. The back yard is really nice. The kitchen is well supplied, and the bedroom is cozy. Great off-street parking and a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again

My 21-year niece had a very comfortable stay here for a week. Check-in was super easy and Melinda contacted us right away to ensure all was good. There is a well-equipped kitchen, comfy reading chair, great lighting, dining table that doubles as a puzzle area, some books and games, 15 min walk to groceries, shops, cafés and the beach. I would absolutely recommend you stay here if it fits your needs 😊!

A feeling of home at this suite, generous outside space just for us, off street parking, location convenient to beach, stores and main routes, but in a quiet area. Excellent communication with host. Look forward to staying there again!!

The location of the house in Oak Bay was ideal for us, close but not too close to downtown Victoria, and just a few blocks from the Oak Bay beach and harbor. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. If we are ever back in Victoria, we will definitely stay there.
