Cette maison vintage en bord de rivière est située sur les rives de la magnifique rivière russe. Riverside Hideaway est une maison d'hôtes située en bas de la maison principale de la propriété. Il y a une entrée privée, un porche couvert privé avec barbecue à gaz donnant sur la rivière et une cour ensoleillée partiellement clôturée. L'accès à la rivière se fait par des escaliers pour accoster. TOT # 725N
Le salon dispose d'un foyer au gaz sur pied, de parquet, d'un futon et d'un centre de divertissement avec télévision par câble. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec des lits confortables (queen size) (y compris des couettes en duvet supplémentaires) et une télévision dans la chambre principale. La salle de bain est de style Jack and Jill avec douche. Very clean and well maintained property. Great to have access to two kayaks and a canoe. Walking distance to the beach and town and the fun Boho Manor. We hope to return!

Totally worth it to stay here. Place is very cute. While the bathroom is small and the houses are close together, the big bedrooms and well appointed kitchen are great. Sitting on the back deck and using the kayaks right from the dock were our favorite parts.

Great river access, many different water craft, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds—really nice sheets, attractive lawn and gardens, nice balcony with river view.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was well taken care of (both lovely and clean) and the location was perfect! We look forward to revisiting as well as recommend this home to friends.

We very much enjoyed our weekend stay at this riverside hideaway. For the price, the unit is very large (bathroom is a bit small, but not unmanageable at all) and most importantly, very well appointed (unlike many other places we have stayed.) The only wobble is that trying to figure out if we'd successfully turned the gas fired stove off was a little bit challenging - hopefully we managed it. Other than that, 2 thumbs up. Highly recommended, and hope to be able to stay there again the next time we head to the Russian River!

This is the perfect home for a get away in the redwoods. The location and views are breathtaking and Kim the owner was a delight. The landscaping is beautifully done with multiple terraces down to the river. All you need is a cup of coffee or glass of wine while you sit and take in the beauty of it all. We most certainly will be back. Thank you Kim for providing all of us an opportunity to enjoy!

This was a cute home and a great place to relax. I came with my mom to celebrate my birthday. It was great to have that quality time together. I thought the description of the place said we'd be staying on the ground floor. So, I was surprised when we had to climb a flight of stairs to get to our place. My mom is 89 years old, and was able to make it, but it was tiring for her. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing getaway weekend for both of us.

This was my second visit to the home and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Accommodations were clean, covered patio overlooking the river was peaceful and relaxing, and the home was centrally located in Russian River on a very quiet street. I’m looking forward to a return visit in the future.

Will be back during season to use dock and kayaks. House, deck and yards were beautiful and clean. We all slept well in this cozy house and gathering in the kitchen felt homey.
Kim was an absolute ideal host; easily reached and responsive to every little question. She even offered to show us the beach nearby where we launched our kayaks! The neighborhood is so sweet; a nice location close to shopping and sights. Bonus was walking distance to beach, a little fro y store and a restaurant with live music.
I usually stay in Guerneville, but this booking locks in Monte Rio for many future getaways from the City. Loved being there!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the River Hideway. Location is easily accessible to the river, many wineries and the coast. The house was very clean and well stocked. We loved sitting on the back deck in the mornings and evenings. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Cozy little spot. Highlights are the coved deck that overlooks the river and two kayaks and a canoe, which we took advantage of. The dock was small but nice. Would stay here again.

Kim’s place was wonderful and a real find on the Russian River. The unit was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped with a good kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining, a dock on the river and access to a canoe and kayak. It’s in a quiet area, but within a short drive to Guerneville shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. We would definitely stay there the next time we’re in the area.

Wow! The reviews were correct in stating that the pics don't do it justice. The cottage was adorable, cozy, and didn't need the living room to be big. This is the smallest room, but sure didnt care. The kitchen and two bedrooms were spacious and that's all we really needed when spending so much time outdoors. The deck, patio, and the dock were beautiful because of the spectacular river view. We got to enjoy the warm August weather on the kayaks and the canoe. It was also so cool that the beach was so close by. We couldnt have asked for a better stay! We kayaked, went t the two nearby beaches, and drive the short distance to Jenner and Bodega Bay. What an awesome location!

Two adults, a teenager and a tween set out on a journey to the Russian River. What we received at this property was a dream come true. Great dock, access to kayaks and canoes, impeccably clean and comfortable living and bedroom areas, and exactly what we needed. Walkable to a basketball court, movie theater, park, and grocery store. Kimberlee, as host, was the best - kind and helpful - and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Hoping to make this an annual trip!!

I stayed here with my husband, baby and in-laws while we were in town for a wedding. It was quaint and charming and had everything we needed to make our stay cozy. We were pleased to find a pack and play for our little one, which was great because it’s so hard to travel with baby gear. The property was beautiful, and right on the River. We were walking distance from the hotels where the wedding was being held, which was perfect, but we found we were able to get there quicker by the kayaks provided :)
The only issue, and this is a general problem in the area and not a reflection of this property specifically, is the cell service. But if you’re coming to unplug and unwind, it’s the perfect spot.

This is a wonderful space right on the river. Walking distance to Monte Rio and a short drive to Guerneville if you need a larger grocery store etc. The host was very friendly, accommodating and responsive. If we were to return to this area we would definitely stay again!

Amazing stay at this listing. We are a family of 4 with two young children. Our kids had such a great time here. I especially appreciate the little things the host supplied such as childrens books (daddy forgot to bring) and little animal statues set in the front and back yards made a for a fun activity. The property has a great fireplace which the kids enjoyed too. It did really well to heat the living room but the bedrooms still remained cold. This was okay since they supplied an additional space heater and down blankets. We really would have liked to use the kayaks but it was still too cold. Everything was easily accessible and well noted by the host. Overall great stay and we would love to stay again if it's available on our next trip to Monte Rio.

New Year’s getaway with my bestie. Spectacular location with the Russian River visible from windows throughput the house and just steps from the backyard. Beautifully landscaped. There’s multiple sitting areas throughout the property to watch life go by. Easy parking.
Serene and quiet. Warm and cozy in the wild rains that pelted the area. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed. Tiny bathroom but functional and plenty of hot water. No dogs allowed which is a big plus for me and why I rented in the first place.
It was pitch black when I arrived in the middle of the storm. Maybe leave a light on for late arrivals. Bring your own teapot - I couldn’t find one.
Overall, a solid 10! I’ll be back.

We had a very nice stay here in December with our toddler. The location is great -- close to lots of hiking spots and not far from Santa Rosa. We did not have a chance to kayak on the river due to the cold weather, but it was nice to sit near the fireplace in the evening and listen to the rain come down. Our toddler enjoyed running around on the porch and front lawn. The main source of heat is from the fireplace in the living room but there was a space heater provided as well. Fair warning, the beds are full/double size so couples used to a larger bed may feel a bit cramped, but they are very comfy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with pans , utensils, etc. for those who like to cook meals at home. Centrally located for easy access to hiking trails, wineries, and local towns. A quiet neighborhood, views of the river from the back deck, and an efficient gas stove/heater which warmed up the living room on cold nights made our stay quite enjoyable.

My wife and I spent a few days on the riverfront in Monte Rio after training in Sonoma. The property was nice - with a deck providing a beautiful view of the river. It is a short drive to the ocean and hiking among the redwoods. If we find ourselves back in the area, we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Property was just right for us. Cozy but had everything we needed. Parking is a bit limited, but wasn’t a problem for us. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the assortment of teas in the evening. Thank you!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the river hideaway. The space is great , with lots of outdoor options, and the available boats are a definite plus. Lovely place on the river for a couples getaway or a slightly larger group— there are two comfortable queen beds.

We spent a restorative weekend here enjoying river views from the outdoor dining area, sitting on the dock watching the wildlife, using the provided canoes and kayaks to paddle around, cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and sleeping soundly in the lushly comfortable beds. The location was ideal and the house graciously hospitable.

My daughter and I had a chance for a long weekend together, and this house was perfect for us. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We even played a new game = Rummikub! We liked that it was a short drive to the ocean, into Guerneville or the Armstrong Woods. We had a wonderful ravioli dinner at Negri's in Occidental. Duncan Mills has some really nice shops to explore. We would definitely stay at this house again.

The property is beautiful, gorgeous landscaping in the yard and a perfect spot for relaxation, peace and quiet! Being on the Russian River is marvelous!

Such a wonderful and peaceful place. Really cute decor. We enjoyed hanging by river on the private dock. Canoed up and down the river with the kids.. Sunbathing in the garden to the bird’s chipping . Awesome view from the porch. We will definitely come back.

Little Gem, right on the river
Nice place to get away and spend some time with your family. The house is well cared for, and easily accessible. Lots of room and flexibility for however you choose to spend your stay. Kayaks available, and direct access to the river from the backyard. We really enjoyed it, even if we spent most of our time away from the house, as we were visiting for a family reunion.
