Dining room overlooking beautiful garden.
Room was clean
Allocated a room which was very small, had to go through multiple flights of stairs up and down. Felt like we were placed in the furthest, most awkward to find room.
No space at all in room.
No airconditioning and only a tiny fan which didn’t do much for air flow.

Staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast was good. Dinner in bistro was very good. Older style room with updated bathroom. Pretty back garden. Good parking.
Unfortunately our last two nights we had extremely inconsiderate guests staying in nearby rooms which made a lot of noise, talking in hallway and slamming doors very late at night, after midnight and 2:30am. There was no thought given to other sleeping guests. Maybe some signs on stairwell and along halls to remind guest to be quiet.

Ontbijt Continentaal, is echt basic zonder extra's daarvoor moet je het full breakfast boeken. Aan tafel kan je dan warme elementen bestellen zoals ei, bacon ed. Continentaal was voor ons en vooral voor de kids basic.

Comfortable room and good breakfast. The radiator was not working in my room, but it was fixed quickly. Had dinner with colleagues in the bistro. Sent back my main course as cold, but it was replaced quickly with a fresh plate.

Very comfortable hotel. Quiet area with nice garden out back. Plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Stored our cases well prior to check in helped make our day more productive.
No air conditioning, and opening the windows for air meant listening to the kitchen roof fans etc. No lift to the floor we were on but staff took our cases up for us.

We booked this place before our flight from Edinburgh airport. It is only 20- 30 min drive and much cheaper than airport hotels.

The single rooms up the main stairs are very noisy. The walls are so thin you hear everything from the next room.

Stayed at this hotel on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th January 2023. Rooms are very dated, Saturday’s breakfast was only lukewarm, (I had the vegetarian option), but the thing that spoiled it for me was the fact that I had to pay £2:30 for a bottle of 330ml water! Most hotels I have stayed at give you a bottle of water in your room, but when I asked the reception if they had any water I was told they sell it at the bar! For the attitude alone of the reception personnel, I will not be staying here again.
