Great location for visiting The University of the Creative Arts. Very clean and modern. Great air con in the room and comfortable beds.

Our shower filled up due to I’m assuming a partially blocked plug hole as we showered. Not really a problem and didn’t effect our rating of the hotel, staff were very responsive when I reported it on check out.

After the room swap (see below) we liked the room and the view of the race course and Grandstand (just about).

I said in advance my wife was in a wheelchair and had access needs, but the first room was completely unsuitable to gain access to the loo and use it. I asked to swap rooms and we were changed to one with a wet room which was fine. I didn't like the air conditioner running all night, maybe we cold have turned it off, I don't know. We haven't stayed in a modern hotel like this before and I couldn't work out how to turn the bathroom lights on. I pressed the switch and nothing happened. I asked at reception and the man said "you press the switch". I said that that didn't work and he looked at me blankly, then a member of public behind me said "you have to put your card, or any card in the slot nearby" OK, why doesn't a sign say that or the staff tell me ? Oh well.

The location is beautiful, up on the Downs and very close to the Rubbing House where we enjoyed an evening drink. The accommodation was new and clean, very comfortable for our needs. The overall welcome and service were excellent.

Nothing could have been improved upon. We regret we had to get away early and thus couldn't enjoy a more leisurely breakfast.

Sehr Gute Lage. Hervorragendes Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis. Frühstück sehr gut und Reichhaltig. Ausreichend viele Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am Hotel verfügbar. Ich war nun das 4te mal bereits hier, und werde wieder kommen!

Excellent hotel, everything you need for a convenient and comfortable stay (we were heading to Gatwick, about a 35 min drive but allow extra for possible traffic/GPS issues). Spotlessly clean, good showers, nice sheets, lovely staff, and the best buffet breakfast we’ve had for a long time at this kind of hotel. Nice walk around Epsom racecourse at edge of Downs right across from hotel.

I found the mattress cover under sheet (possibly nylon?) rather hot but my travel companions didn’t notice theirs. Beds v comfy.

The room was clean and comfortable.

The food was poor, we ordered pizzas in the evening and they were clearly shop bought frozen pizzas but cost £20 each
