This was an annual trip that our family had been making for years and we are thrilled that we made the choice to try this new property! It was absolutely beautiful and we made so many lovely memories, I can't wait to come back again next year. God willing we will stay even longer then, because this house and land is stunning and worth every second and penny spent. Thanks again!

Everything was as described and even better. Dock was beautiful, kitchen was totally stocked (even had some spices for use) and the location was perfect. We have family in Ocala, so this was just 30 minutes from downtown, about 20 minutes from Silver Springs for kayaking with the manatees, and not too far from the highway. Communication was great, place was easy to access, and would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lodge. The property was clean and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of toys for the lake. The view was beautiful! We look forward to staying here again.

Stayed there with my wife, our three kids, and their respective boy/girl friends; 8 people in total. Kids ages ranges from 17 - 20. THE HOUSE was great... the kids were all upstairs and they loved it... just far enough away from us. The dining room table was set for us when we arrived, which was really nice, the family room was very accommodating, the kitchen was great, useful, and we did a fair amount of cooking. THE YARD is awesome! we hung out outside, grilled, hung on the beach, and used the dock. we brought our 21' boat and it was all wonderful. There is ample room for the boat in the doc, and for the boat/trailer in the driveway. *one word of caution, make sure you have a cover for your boat as the trees there throw a lot of leaves & pollen. THE LOCATION/TOWN is fun and convenient. Gas and Pizza right across the street, Gator Joes is fun, and Eatons (across the lake is great). The Boat Ramp in town is very close [the ramp is $8. Plenty of parking, easy ramps. The weekend we were there the water was surprising ruff which I think is uncharacteristic for the area]. ACTIVITIES: we hiked Juniper Springs, did 4 hours Kayaking in Silver Springs, and hit a few bars in downtown Ocala one night. ...really a great trip, and the house made A great home base. Excellent communication with the property owner too. really a 10 outta 10 weekend.

For the first time my wife and I went south for a month. Cedar Lodge on Lake Weir was a wonderful place for us! Very peaceful, private and right on the water. We had a great time and highly recommend this rental. We hope to come back and stay again!

Great place, clean and well maintained

Wow words can’t describe how much fun our friends and family had on this vacation! Thomas goes above and beyond with taking care of this house in all of its beauty and the property, you and your family will not regret booking here! This place has everything you need to stay in for the weekend and relax it’s a place I would call a home away from home! I had my baby shower here and it was everything I dreamed of, this place will forever be in my memories with my nieces and nephews! We want to thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We just got married this weekend, so my husband and his groomsmen stayed at your home before the wedding and we had a short honeymoon for a few days after. It was beautiful.

This was my third stay at this property and it was just as wonderful as always. It has become one of our favorite places to go. The house is beautiful, well appointed and there is something so special about it. The serenity of the lake and and the gorgeous views can’t be beat. It is somewhere I will keep returning to.

Our whole family loves this location. The house is beautiful with many great features and amenities. The private beach area is huge and well maintained with soft white sand. The lake it pretty shallow until you get to the dock, its about knee height or little higher. Great with little ones. Gives them lots of room to play in the water. Without being to worried. Water level at dock is deep enough for boats and other water toys too. The house has big windows that look at the lake to watch the sunrise from inside or a comfy back porch with lots of seating and a gas fire pit. There is a luxury detached outhouse that has 4 separate rooms one for toilet, one shower and two changing rooms. Everyone loves this and is probably one of our favorite features of the house. The owner is very communicative and friendly. If ever needed anything or had questions he was quick to respond. We can’t wait to come back again.

Great little house on the lake with a beach, would highly recommend.

So many options when it came to outdoor seating and spaces. We loved the setup and the house was beautiful. Property owners were a pleasure to deal with and had everything covered when it came to furnishing the home and providing everything we could possibly need. Highly recommend.

We love staying at this house. The location is great, close to the boat ramp and only 15 minutes to Publix and Walmart if you forget something. The house is very well equipped, all the essentials plus lots of extras that aren’t included in most rentals. We love having the shower and the extra restroom outside, perfect for when you are down at the lake. The beautiful views from the living room as well as the dock are an added bonus. The shallow beach area is perfect for little children to play in the water and sand. Our grandsons had a blast fishing off the end of the dock. This was our second trip here and booked again for next year!

We have stayed on Lake Weir many times and have always wanted to stay at the Cedar Lodge. Was able to get a weekend away and this was the perfect quiet little house on the lake. Everything we needed was already there for you. We loved the outdoor shower to rinse off after being in the lake. Great communication with the owners & they sound like sweet wonderful people ❤️ Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will be back again soon.

This was our second time staying here and we had the best time! The home is perfect for our family.

Cedar Lodge was in the perfect location for us and the accommodations met all of our needs. Fishing from the dock was very enjoyable and relaxing. We were unaware the stairs to the loft were not inside the lodge but were located on the screened porch. This was not a problem for us because we did not have small children with us. Our stay at Cedar Lodge was great and we look forward to our next visit.

We have rented this house for a few years now and we look forward to going every year. The host is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Already looking forward to next year.

My family and I absolutely loved this home! It was very clean, very nicely decorated, and we all were very comfortable. Everyone had plenty of room. The owners were very accommodating, and great communication if we needed anything or had any questions. The lake view is absolutely beautiful, as well as the cabin/home. The beds were very comfortable. Nice TVs with all the channels/apps you could ever want to watch. The kitchen had every utensil dish you could possibly need. The house was set up so nice, and we all plan to come back again soon! 10/10 recommend!

This is our second stay here. Everything was clean and comfortable. All our cooking utensil needs were available. There were plenty of towels, linens and cleaning supplies. The outdoor toys were handy for our 1 year old grand. The outdoor furniture was comfortable for relaxing on in the evenings. Can’t say enough about this relaxing place! We will be back again! Tom is easy to communicate with and a pleasure!

We have stayed here for a few years now and it’s always nice to come back and visit. Great house with great hosts. We always look forward to our vacations here.

The house was just as described. We enjoyed our stay very much. Lots of room for large families. The outside shower with hat water is a plus for cleaning up. Nice back yard for the little ones to play. Will stay again.

This is the second time I’ve been to this property and it does not disappoint. The views are outstanding and the house is well equipped with all the things you need to enjoy your time there. The owner is fantastic and is great at communicating. We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday there this weekend and his parents joined us. We all had the best time ever. We will definitely be back!

The cabin for great in every way! Accomodations were awesome. Five stars in everything....cleanliness - A+, everything you could imagine needing was already there, location was perfect and close to restaurants and stores, Amazing lake view and huge yard. Most of all it was the perfect place for a small wedding and so much nicer than an event center. Everyone in attendance kept complimenting the beauty of the home. Tom was so nice, we felt like old friends and he was very accomodating. We will definitely come back, only next time we will be on vacation. Owner very attentive. Property rustic which was fine for us. All farmhouse decor and unique. Not many places to go for a walk so I went across the street and about every other house had loud barking dogs—2-5 per house. Thankfully all behind fences. We didn’t swim but could have—nice sandy beach.
