excellent location, very clean and comfortable

very long wait for tea and coffee at breakfast. we were finishing eating when drinks were offered

Close to sights in central town. friendly staff. both rooms were clean. guest toilet in lobby very clean. wheelchair accessible into property and the allocated room was excellent. opposite a supermarket buffet breakfast was very adequate. staff were very responsive to emails and in excellent English. particularly with accessibility queries. We arrived very late and though no shots were open and no coffee facilities in the room the night receptionist still went out of his way to make us coffees on a tray up to our room. lovely gesture.

Parking is available though a little remote from property and tight parking. but it Is available and can usually find a park space to unload in front of the property so i didn’t find it a problem. no tea/coffee making facilities in room.

All in all we had a good stay. The room was and bed were confortable and the breakfast more than satisfying. The location was perfect for our needs as we stayed most of the time in Alessandria. The shopping area was very close.

The only problem was that the next door neighbour had his television on all night and unfortunately, in the silence of the night, we could hear it. We mentioned it to reception the following morning and of course their reply was that they cannot do much about such problems.

Front entry lobby was very nice

Regrettably a very dated room, dimly lit streets with no restaurant close by. The onsite restaurant was closed on Sundays. "On-site parking" was down the street and around the corner in a garage, but we had no options for dinner that evening, so we ate nuts and cheese in our room. Carpet was clean but seemed very old and dated. Staff would not refund our second night room charge despite the fact that we were checking out a day early.

I had to carry my own luggage upstairs they didn’t have a bellman on the property.

Beautiful hotel with huge rooms, the service was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was huge and had a very nice layout, truly special.

Not much to say

I always come in this hotel any time l have to be in Alessandria and around. It is mostly 20 years. Great location, very clean hotel, very good restaurant. Everything always perfect, however this time ...

Once arrived, a woman at the reception (a new one) refused the check-in because she didn't want to accept my Passport ??? Well, l don't live in Italy since 2001and l 'm settled in London, where l work and with even a settle status. There is no reason l have to have an "identity card". Not even legal!. We disputed for a while. Incredible! Passport is an official document to travel anywhere in the world, but not in Alessandria?!? Crazy!!! Moreover, once she finally "accepted" it because ?!? She found that in their recording, trying to go into the room with my suite-case, the cleaning lady blocked me at the life exit, shouting on me "what are you doing here? You have to go away, not into the room!!!". Really crazy welcome. Everything else was fine, though.
