Great location, rooms are well-designed.
Our room was incredibly noisy - next to the pub’s kitchen fan, which was on from 7am to 10pm. Our room was also next to the speaker for the outdoor courtyard so we also had music coming into our room until 10pm. Plus it was BOILING (and opening the windows let in more noise 😭).

We booked last minute for a nearby wedding. We would be coming in late and were told how to get in and that we could help ourselves to milk from the fridges downstairs etc. It was a nice welcome :)
The only gripe from my stay which probably cant be helped was that even though I had had a lot to drink and usually sleep like a log! our room was right above the road and is quite busy with lorries during the night. It literally sounded like they were driving right past your head and we struggled to get decent sleep.

Pillows were bulky. The door mechanism didn’t recognise our keys but staff were helpful about this niggle.

Comfortable stay with very friendly helpful and cooperative staff, the facilities were clean, food was very good and well prepared. Baby/child friendly staff and facilities.

Location, service, breakfast, dinner, the room, the train station in Settle. Everything was more than we could expect from a small town. Especially the train station is a must see.

staff helpful. breakfast was lovely. We also ate lunch which was delicious. This hotel was very convenient for us. No parking on site but carpark over the road only £3.90 for 24 hours.
I thought it was expensive for Settle on a Sunday. No aircon in rooms very warm. our room was quite noisy as between the beer garden and the road.

The staff were excellent in all areas, from reception, bar staff, restaurant staff, breakfast staff and checkout staff. We felt thoroughly welcomed and well looked after. The room was lovely with all necessary facilities available. We booked a table for dinner, which was good. The quality of the breakfast was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again.

on the whole, it was a lovely weekend. spoiled only by inconsiderate guests in the adjacent room with the tv on loudly until the early hours! we’d have been ok with that up until midnight-ish but it went in well beyond that! and that was on both nights of our weekend break ruined by lack of sleep.
maybe some room interest asking guests to consider other people want to relax and sleep and to keep the tv/noise down after midnight.

Staff where all very friendly. Breakfast was very enjoyable. Room except for the extractor which was quite noisy, but was told that rooms are going to be decorated, was neighbours worried about with noise not us.
