Breakfast ordering from a paper list is unusual and unnecessary. Sending continual reminders about it to your phone when you are enjoying the city is unnaceptable.

We decided to change our itinerary and stay in Paraty for two extra nights because we liked it so much, we booked this hotel on a whim last minute and it ended up being one of the best places we have ever stayed! The staff, pool, bar, location, gardens, decor, rooms... really everything was excellent!!

This place is just so beautiful, it's truly special. Our room was on a lovely little lane opposite the main building. Really quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and helped us to arrange activities and transfers.

The room was full of sand, it was also close to the street access gate. At 6am we started to hear the open/close of the gate. A suggestion would be to inform the clients about these rooms 18 and 19 ( mainly for the price we spent) with the close proximity to the gate

Beautifully and elegantly decorated. Spotlessly clean. the staff were absolutely charming and could not have been more helpful.

There were problems with the wifi in our room, but the staff made great efforts to sort it out. it worked well in the salon just below so wasn’t my really a problem.

Awesome location, very comfortable. One of the few in the historical center to have a parking lot, really handy for those driving to Paraty. Great breakfast.

The staff at Pousada do Ouro was exceptional and provided support in organizing activities. The facilities are beautiful, the breakfast exceptional, and the location ideal for walking in the historic center.

Amazing place to stay! Great location, in the old city of Paraty just a short stroll from the bay, the facilities are beautiful, surrounded by green and super well kept, very quiet, unless guests are not mindful, great breakfast options and amazing food, we also tried some of the food services outside breakfast and quality is top notch. We did use the sauna, which we advise to if you like it, and we did have a massage as well, Kyomi and Natache were our masseur's and I highly advise anyone to avail of their services, they were excellent. We did visit around, went on the schooner trip around the bay, booked by our hosts, but our main objective was to rest before our return home, and we fully achieved that. Finally, and most important for us was the staff, from Filipe in the reception, to Luis and Miriam, to the cleaning lady that always welcomed us with a smile (I am really sorry I never asked her name) and kept leaving dark chocolate in our bed, and everyone else I don't know the name, you do an amazing job in welcoming people to your facilities, and it makes all the difference! Thank you!
