the beachfront bungalow photos were quite deceiving. it’s a lot smaller than we expected, and the view of the beach was from the side only. Also all the provided sun beds were hogged by unknown people by 8am each morning, but we found a better bar with sun beds further down the beach which cost about €10 for the day. The beach is nothing special, and there’s very little happening on it once the sun goes down.

Location in the heart of Lamai. The hotel is right on the beach and has a simply but very nice swimming pool. Jumping into the pool is allowed, which our son appreciated:) Room are cleaned daily. Bottled water replenished every day. The staff was very nice and helpful (this is becoming rare in Thailand). The hotel restaurant on the beach is very good and not overpriced. Jet Ski rental offers discounts for hotel guests.

The pool is a bit far from the beach. The room is not very big. We booked two villas next to each other and we had super comfort for affordable price (cca. 100€ per nigh together). We had to pay €1,50 for accidently broken cup. It's not too much but it's a question of principle.

Has always been a great place with great location

We had an excellent time at the Coconut Lamai Beach Resort. It's very centrally located for easy reach of the numerous bars, restaurants and markets of Lamai but yet quiet and peaceful. The staff were exceptional. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Bungalows were cleaned daily with new towels supplied, beach towels were provided.

A few improvements and updates would not go amiss here, especially in the bungalows. However it has to be borne in mind the effect the pandemic has had on businesses so this is a minor consideration in the big scheme of things. Breakfast could have more variety and a slightly higher standard, however it was adequate and so again this is a minor consideration. Given that Thailand has not long since opened up for tourism allowances do have to be made. We would stay here again without any hesitation.

Everything is 100 % , I've visited many times and the manager and all staff are beautiful and lovely, I also always get the bungalow I requested thats a beautiful touch from management, see you again.

Bungalows could be refreshed (paint walls inside for ex). Mattress definitely out of shape. Pillows too hard. This could be great to change them.

Great place to stay in Lamai and not expensive! We stayed for 6 nights in one of the cottages and it was amazing. The cottage was fantastic, small but comfortable and with privacy. The bathroom was quite large with a spacious shower. We had everything we need, with a minifridge, a kettle, free water bottles and tea, a big closet and air conditioning. They even gave us a bag and towels for the beach. Rooms are basically on the beach, where you can relax on the hotel beach loungers under the coconut palms, eat something at the hotel bar on the beach (during the day), have a thai massage on the beach or even rent ski jets. The hotel has also a swimming pool and the possibility to book several trips or activities on the islands. We haven't tried them, but we booked a transfer to the airport and it was on time and comfortable. Lamai main street with all the restaurants, shops, banks and pharmacies is just around the corner, so you can easily move around the village on foot.

The furniture is quite dated, especially the bathroom where the shower sometimes had low water pressure. However, it was a minor issue and overall our staying was fantastic!

Oldtimed bungalows, they want to charge 800 BTH a day for extra bed for a baby (crazy....we have never been charged in any hotel in Thailand for extra bed)

Hotel is a bit outdated, no noise insulation. There was ongoing issue with sewer smell in the room for the entire duration of the say.
