Very friendly staff and lovely accomodation

It was a lovely place relaxing and meet my expectations.

My only negative was no warm blankets it was cold and i did not think the bedding was sufficient. I went and brought a warm blanket for the second night and had alot more comfortable sleep, most of us sleep with either a duvet or cuddly blanket at home so its a big transition to go to very light bedding. Apart from that it was great.

we loved the two bedroom cottage, the cottages are spaced apart from one another which was nice for privacy.

The fire at the fireplace didn’t last. We wondered maybe the vent/chimney isn’t properly ventilated so the fire dies quickly… The ‘code’ locking system didn’t work. It locked us out so we had to get a key from the reception Both no biggie - want this to be constructive feedback

Blinds needed fixing in the lounge and light not working on desk in bedroom

Very peaceful and close to town. Spa was amazing! Good sized rooms and everything you need.

Rooms could just do with some bug spraying. Quite a few spiders, cockroaches and ants.

Indoor pool, grounds, space

Sky TV could be a worthwhile option

Beds where really comfortable! Loved the open fireplace.

Wish there was a spa. And a shame that you have to buy a swimming cap to use the pool - made us not use it.

Communication by staff was exemplary and instructions to gain access to room after hours were great (might need to be more specific about which door to access). The room was spotless with really comfy beds. The bathroom was spotless with an awesome walk in shower. The kitchen was spotless with microwave, fridge (with wine for purchase) and hot plate for making breakfast in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed having a cooked breakfast instead of the usual continental cereal offerings by most facilities. The setting was so peaceful and we had the best nights sleep. Thank you team.

The only thing we found could perhaps do with looking at is the lighting from the car park to the rooms. It is very dark and while we did have our cellphone torches it was awkward trying to carry the phone, carry the luggage, navigate the path and not disturb other guests. Was a challenge, but other than that it was great.
