we had an amazing stay at Lindian Jewel Apartments. it was so clean, and a perfect location in Lindos! We had a warm welcome from Eleni and also had cold beers/water in the waiting fridge after a long hot trip. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Printed out all the details of booking.com before we traveled the number of the apartment was 597 on the print out, but the number is 506 which wasted half a hour and had me running up and down the narrow streets of Lindos.

LOCATION: perfect. The apartment is close to everything, and it situated in a calm area. TERRACE: huge and and the view is truly breathtaking. KITCHEN EQUIPMENT: everything you might need is there.

CHECK IN: we communicated our arrival time as requested, however nobody was there to welcome us. After trying to contact them, we received a call where they apologized and they said that the person that was supposed to meet us was not available, then we received instruction on how to find the keys (which was a bit problematic since the person at the phone had never seen the property). Once we finally got the keys, they instructed us on which room was ours, and since the keys did not work, they had to interrupt the call, check that the room the pointed us to was the right one and call us back. Surprise surprise it was not (which means that we tried several times to open the door of an apartment that was not ours and, as we discovered later, was not empty...fortunately the guest were not home and we did not give them a scare...). On the second call we we finally able to enter our room. ROOM: it is VERY small and VERY crowded. Cluttered with unnecessary (and frankly quite ugly) décor and with dark furniture, the room is quite claustrophobic. The bed is literally next to the kitchen (the pictures of the room are quite deceiving). BATHROOM: it needs some renovation, the shower is rusty and stained. WIFI: it does not work (once connected even opening emails is problematic)

Esmerelda was lovely , she kept the apartment very clean.Everything you could wish for in a apartment.

Some nights a bit noisy from the bars, also nearby neighbours dog persistent barking.

Great view, very comfortable and perfect location. The terrace was spectacular. The staff is very kind and helpful.

It’s the second time in a few years that I stay here, and they still have the same two problems: - The wifi is ridiculously slow, so, if you need to work (as I did), then you’ll have to go somewhere else or use your phone’s roaming. I thought for a moment that it was a problem of the town, but every coffee place or restaurant has a faster wifi. - They say that they accept cards, but the reality is that you need to pay in cash. To pay by card (as I needed to do) you have to tell them by phone all your card details, including the three security numbers (not the safest option), or you have to go by bus or car all the way to the next town to pay at the reception of their other property. I think these two issues are easily fixable, but it’s been years and still they have the same problems. This has the potential to be one of the best locations in Lindos, but these two problems may make me not stay here again, unfortunately.

The apartment was small but really cozy and they have thought of everything you would need. The views from the tiny balcony we have were unbeatable: the acropolis and the beautiful sunrise. Esmeralda is very kind and cleans the apartment very thoroughly and almost every other day. There are towels for the beach too! And it’s literally within five mins walk to the St Paul beach (the beach wasn’t our favourite but still great to have for a quick dip in the early morning).

It was very clean and comfortable, a nice touch with the wine, beer, water and fruit. Location is spot on.

Everything. The view, location, comfortable bed, clean. Nice shower.. and above all a magnificent balcony. Not for anyone with limited mobility, but that goes for Lindos. Loved it. Thank you.

The terrace was very large and had fabulous views of the Acropolis. As it was very hot the terrace also provided a lovely shaded seating area. The bathroom was excellent with a spacious walled shower and the kitchen well equipped. The bed large and very comfortable. A lovely welcome bottle of wine fresh fruit and water was an excellent touch.

We stayed in the studio with sea view which was small but comfortable - big enough for two people for a few nights. The room had all the amenities you could need including air conditioning. It has a small balcony with an amazing view which was the highlight for us. The property is in a great location - near the beaches and bars and restaurants of Lindos, but tucked away so it is quiet.

Check out was at 12pm, and I messaged the owner in advance asking if we could leave our luggage at the property after checking out as our flight wasn’t until the evening - they confirmed this would be fine, and the cleaner would let us know where to leave our bags. However, when it came to it the cleaner wouldn’t let us leave our bags so we had to lug them around all day. Better communication between the staff is needed! There were also some odd noises in the room during the night - sounded like the pipes maybe. Nothing major but it was a little annoying when trying to sleep.
