Our hosts were the best part of our stay. So hospitable, so helpful. Nothing too much trouble. The place was clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent.
Wouldn’t have minded being closer to restaurants.

Sandy & Cathy Aitken are the most phenomenal people. Their kindness and hospitality made me feel as if I had unpacked my entire home—they are where the heart is. Admittedly, I felt a ‘wee bit’ sad having to say goodbye. Sandy & Cathy, many thanks for everything! The room, the breakfasts, the talks, the laughs—you’ve made my first to trip to Scotland absolutely wonderful. Please keep your eye out for a little token of my appreciation in the coming weeks: via email.

A perfect choice whether for work or holiday. The guest house is really comfortable, quiet and well maintained. The owners are very hospitable and will make you feel very welcome. Located well for travel to either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Highly recommended.

The hosts are absolutely wonderful. They did everything to make our stay comfortable. They were helpful and cheerful. Sitting with other travelers at breakfast was also fun.
The bed was a little too soft for my back. Otherwise, the room was great.

Breakfast exeptional, nothing is too much trouble. Lovely Cathy and Sandy who really make you welcome. Beautiful home and garden with lots of character. Very near Airdrie railway station with a good car park. £1.50 to park your car for the day and you even get that back when you buy a rail ticket, only 25 mins for a pleasant run to Glasgow.
The shower could do with an update.

Lovely hosts Cathy and Sandy. Lovely breakfast with good choices to suit everyone. Historic stone cottage, nicely decorated, warm and cosy.
Light blinds did not block out streetlight outside window well enough, would have preferred heavier curtains.

Sandy and cath were great from the minute we entered the front door amazing breakfast room lovely and comfortable access out back door so we could come and go as we pleased would book again

I felt very comfortable, quite relaxing and it felt like home away from home. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities and good history behind the accommodation. ☺ Would definitely recommend it, worth visiting. 👍

Sandy is very friendly and welcoming and the place itself is very clean it has everything I need for when I’m working in the area and will definitely be staying again

Excellent B&B: location just off the motorway, ideally situated between Glasgow and Edinburgh / friendly owners / ample privacy (not part and parcel of every B&B) / very good breakfast. I stayed at this property in the summer of 2017 and was happy to book again. Warmly recommended.

The room being cozy with a nice view to outside, welcoming and friendly behaviour of the owners and also having a safe car park.
The location of the place was easy to find and there are some sandwich shops near there to go at dinner time. Sandy and Cathy are very lovely and I enjoyed their hostility and talking to them while having my breakfast. I suggested this place to two of my classmate as well as they are planning to go in Oct.
