great location and nice cottage

Difficulty getting in the gate, need better instructions. supplies like toilet paper and laundry detergent were in limited supply had buy our own and no tea or paper towels. fireplace and heating system was difficult to work. Despite over riding limiter heat would go off in middle of the night.

We had a problem with the en-suite shower head and could not get it to stay up so basically had to bend down to use it! I rang one of the numbers in the book and left a voicemail and emailed on the Tuesday! I expected a reply but no success so again emailed a further email address later in the week but again unfortunately no reply!

We arrived late in the evening. The access to the lockbox was easy to locate by following the concise and explicit instructions received in advance. Unexpectedly, arranged flowers, milk in the fridge, mini flapjacks and shortbread, greeted us upon arrival. The thoughtful touch made us feel welcome after a long 4-hour drive to the Cotswolds. The beautiful cottage, in picturesque settings, exceeded beyond all our expectations. The location was faultless and we were right in the heart of village. We enjoyed the use of the well maintained private garden. The photos provided did not do the venue justice as the rooms and lounge were far bigger and more spacious than we had thought.

The main things we didn't like about our stay is not directly related to the Cottage. Such as 1) the fact we couldn't stay any longer and 2) we wish we didn't have to drive 4 hours to get here. We would very much like a stay longer on our next visit. If we were to be extremely picky. Then we would say 1) the sealant in the ensuite shower would need a little attention. There were indications of black on the bottom seals, 2) windows in the front lounge would need some care. It was a sunny September when we stayed so the windows appeared dirty. However, these issues are insignificant in comparison to the overall quality of the experience. The VIP touches upon arrival with the welcome pack would supersede these minor details and will not impede our experience.

Quaint little cottage with a lovely outside space. Perfect location just away from the main high street which was busy at the weekend. Lovely restaurants , all accessible on foot. Well equipped and very comfortable. Nice touch to have blankets on the sofa for guests to use. Thanks for a lovely stay😀

A couple of minor things - surprised to find a chip in two pieces of crockery ( a breakfast bowl and a side plate); and although the lounge chair was very comfy, it was a little tired looking and could do with a lift !

Cottage was comfortable and full of charm. Although Bourton on the Water is busy, the cottage was conveniently located on a quiet location on a side road, just a couple of minutes from the centre. Parking was good, enough for 3 cars. Milk, orange juice and cake on arrival was a nice touch.

Nothing, well equipped and comfortable.

Excellent location & a really lovely cottage. All of the furnishings are really high quality & beds were really comfortable.

All appliances including the fridge were switched off on arrival. We didn’t realise the fridge was off to start with & the milk that was kindly left for us had curdled as a result. The speaker / sound system within the property only works with an app that is no longer available.

Location was perfect

Convenient for village and nice and warm.

Shower head broken and not replaced when asked . Outside window and door dirty . Milk and fruit juice etc but no nesspresso pods for machine .

The location was faultless. Easy to walk into the village and get a meal and walk home again within minutes.

Cottage had a touch of luxury, was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Great location - 1 min from the river - a peaceful haven away from the bustle. Front and back gardens were great to have as it was hot during our stay.

Wifi was a bit flaky. Very poor mobile signal.
