The price for an old cabin. Could stay at the Crown Casio. For a better room. And same price.

Best place to stay in the area. The cabin are incredible, the location excellent and the staff is just wonderful. We go every year!

The location was great as it was virtually on the beach. The veranda on the cabin was good as my dog was able to lay down and enjoy the outdoors.

The bathroom could have been a bit bigger.

Didn't have a blanket and it was very cold at night. Duna was great, but needed something in case of extreme cold without putting on air cons.

The activities at the holiday park were excellent - the splash park and big water slide was an instant hit, with a great shaded canopy at the far end. The heated pool, while small, was very welcome to swim in on cooler days. The cabin was great, and I loved the layout with the main room on one end of the kitchen/dining, and the bunk bed room on the other end. I also loved the undercover outdoor area, as I noticed that some of the beach cottages, while more expensive, don't have a completely covered outdoor area. The mattress in the main room was comfortable, and this room also had a second TV which was a great bonus in the evenings. I quite liked how the bunk rooms only had the bottom sheet fitted and let guests fit their own top sheet how they want to.

The splash park and heated pool areas have recliners that are only useful if wanting a nap, but not any good to sit up and supervise children - please provide half a dozen ordinary chairs, especially for those over 50 who can't get up or down on those recliners. The cabin was very clean, except for two things - a half eaten biscuit was found on the railing of one of the upper bunks (led me to think that the sheets hadn't been changed??), and under the sink there was a little dish containing pepper sachets and one half opened salt sachet (just needed checking and throwing out). The main issue, which I reported to the reception on checking out, was that the mattresses in the bunk room were all worse than uncomfortable. One was extremely hard, and the other three were extremely soft and noticeably saggy. On the first night I tried sleeping on the hard mattress, but it was rock hard, like sleeping on concrete and I got no sleep. On the second night I moved and slept on what I thought was the best of the three soft mattresses, and basically just lay straight on the slats, with my arms and head bent up uncomfortably. I put a pillow under the mattress to help bring up the middle, but it was dreadful. Reading reviews now, after out stay, I see that others have also mentioned the uncomfortable mattresses, so it's a shame that this is something that hasn't been rectified, as it would be a major factor in visiting again. I would probably bring a blow up mattress and sleep on the floor, which kind of defeats the purpose of staying in a cabin.
