Excellent service, good communication even though we don't speak much Spanish :) Rich breakfast, relaxed atmosphere, great distance to wineries and restaurants downtown. Amazing value for the price!

It's a bit stuffy in the bathroom (there's no ventilation)

It’s on the edge of the town overlooking the mountains and vineyards. The area is quiet, yet it only takes a few minutes to walk into the town centre. Our room was basic, but the public areas were pleasant. The pool area was good to return to after a hot day. Breakfast was OK. Our only problem was with communication since no one spoke English, but we got by with Google Translate.

Pretty close to town with nice views to the vineyard. Staff were accommodating and breakfast was nice too.

We loved this hotel. Our family took up three rooms and we all loved our room. The hotel itself is beautiful with gorgeous gardens and planters, and immaculate with staff thoroughly sweeping and mopping all the time. The air conditioning was great, our bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the pool looked wonderful. There is a comfortable lounge/lobby and a nice rooftop patio with fabulous views. The breakfast was the best we have had at any hotel in Argentina. The toast was from bread freshly baked every night, and there was ham, cheese, yogurt, granola, nut mix, medialunas, chipas (cheese buns), cereals, hot milk and hot coffee, hot water with a great selection of teas, and a selection of jams. Best of all, the staff were amazing. Susana, especially, went out of her way to help us in anything we needed.

Some parts of the room should be upgraded to increase the level of cleaning possible. For example, the wicker bathroom counter would be impossible to disinfect.

Lovely pool area to sit and relax, nice spacious clean rooms, lovely owner/manager who was really helpful! Great breakfast, excellent location a few blocks from the central plaza.

The hot tub wasn't in use as it's winter which was a shame - but otherwise really great stay, can't fault it!

Breakfast was great. Overall ambiance of the hostal was welcoming and very relaxing. The open layout, roof and pool in the center was beautiful. The bathroom was also brand new and great.

There were three of us traveling together so we got a 2 bed and the room was very tight for all of us and our luggage. The location is also a little away from the main areas of Cafayate. Its no more than a 10 minute walk but its a pretty abandoned street/area coming home at night. We never felt unsafe though.

Unfortunately the whole experience disappointed: - The shower didn’t work properly (barely any water and warm water took 2 min) - Bedlinen+towels were extremely old and smelly - Breakfast only served toast with sweets, nothing fresh like fruits or eggs - The pool was very dirty - The only personnel didn’t speak a word of English and also didn’t try to make us understand her (though we learned via Google translate she just started working there) Although we booked two nights, we fled the hotel after 1 night…
