Maison en bord de mer à Gleneden Beach (assez large plage à 1 mile au sud de Lincoln City). Ce charmant cottage en bardeaux est situé au bord de l’océan, avec une vue panoramique élevée de toutes les fenêtres de la grande salle. Vous trouverez qu'il est facile de vous détendre dans le salon somptueux avec téléviseur / lecteur DVD / Blu-ray à écran plat mural, foyer au gaz et le son de surf toujours présent. Vous aurez plaisir à regarder les baleines à la table et à voir passer des pélicans et d’autres oiseaux de mer tout en faisant la vaisselle dans la cuisine entièrement équipée. Même la buanderie a une vue fantastique sur l'océan! Les deux chambres doubles sont situées dans la partie est plus calme de la maison. Vous adorerez l’entrée de la cour privée ensoleillée et le pont ouest est transparent mais protégé du vent, avec un mobilier de salle à manger et des chaises Adirondack. L'accès à la magnifique plage de Gleneden se trouve juste à côté de l'allée, vous pouvez donc faire signe à vos invités depuis le porche alors qu'ils descendent vers l'eau. Gleneden Beach vous place entre Lincoln City, Depoe Bay et Newport pour des excursions d'une journée, mais vous pouvez simplement vous promener au bord de l'océan et explorer la ville de Gleneden Beach. Il y a un golf et un spa de classe mondiale à Salishan, un café / bar à vin appelé le Red Roof et de délicieux dîners au Side Door Cafe. Kristy’s Kottage was the find of a lifetime. The ocean view is really as spectacular as pictured - we sat for hours every day and night with the windows open, enjoying the cool breezes and crashing waves. The home is pristinely clean and modern, while cozy and comfortable. We had everything we needed but knew we could contact the property managers if not. The location was ideal for our vacation. We drove to Cannon Beach one day and were so happy to realize that our home base was more isolated, away from the crowds. Favorite activities were walking the beach, and kayaking Beaver Creek (shout out to our fantastic guide Audrey from Ossies Surf Shop in Newport). Favorite meals were Clearwater Restaurant in Newport (complete with sea lion entertainment!) and Pelican Brewing Company at Siletz Bay. Best chowder was a seafood mix at Side Door Cafe (5 mins. from the house). The Tillamook Creamery was fun, free and yummy. I can’t say enough great things about the rental/experience, and highly recommend Kristy’s. We hope to visit the area again with a bigger group and would work with A-1 to find the right property. The only challenge we encountered was the drive to and from the Portland airport; it took longer than our mapping indicated, so consider factoring in extra travel time if you’re using PDX.

We had the BEST time at Kristy's Kottage! We watched seals from the living room windows and walked down to the beach every day since access was just steps away. It was often uncrowded and felt like our own private beach. The view was amazing and the option to open every seaside window was wonderful. This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here and we highly recommend Kristy's Kottage! It’s a perfect location for relaxing and enjoying the fantastic ocean views from the living area and deck! There is also a nice deck on the front of the cottage that’s a perfect place to enjoy the sunrise and your morning beverage of choice. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything you need. If you tire of the beautiful views and the beach, Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, and Newport are close by.

It's a beautiful home by the sea. We came to relax and enjoy the waves. We did a lot of cooking and eating, there were enough pots and pans to accommodate us. Next time when we come, I will make sure to bring a scrubbing sponge so that we can properly do dishes.
The house was clean and we are happy. I wish the shower curtin was washed or changed. It's old and smells of mildew, but other then that, it was perfect!

We visit Lincoln city yearly and Kristy's Kottage has been the best visit to date. A1 has been the most responsive and friendliest property management company we have worked with. The view is amazing and accomodations were just what we needed. A box fan or some form of recirculating air would be helpful on hot summer afternoons but all in all just a great little peaceful place right next to the beach entrance. We were surprised the place was available for a spontaneous trip! Highly recommend Kristy's and A-1.

My gal pal and I stayed 3 nights at the Kottage and could have not had a better rental! Not only was it very clean, but also so comfy with a fabulous view. It was even better than the photos on the rental site. The kitchen had everything you would need for a great stay and even more. Kristy thought of everything! You could even hear the ocean waves from the bedrooms with no open windows. Although the steps were steep to get to the outdoor balcony, we made it work for our evening drinks to watch the sunset which was spectacular. We only tried the beach access nextdoor once as it was too dangerous after my friend fell even using the rope to repel down to the beach. But no worries, we just walked about 3 blocks to another access which was very easy to navigate. Really, the only items which would make this rental even more spectacular are: kleenex, a hook on the bathroom door for robes and directions on how to operate the 2 remotes. We figured it out on our last night. Highly recommend this rental if you don't want to bring your dog.

Small beach house with great view of the ocean, literally a stone's throw away. Will be back for this one. Only draw backs were grill and outdoor furniture must have been locked up for winter and no heat in bedrooms and bathroom, learn to get up a couple times a nite and restart 2 hour timer on gas fireplace. Also, adjusting gas fireplace to correct setting took a couple of nites practice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kristy's Cottage. The first thing you notice is the view, which is fabulous. The kitchen is well equipped, and I was able to fix a nice dinner there. The bathroom is so pretty, and the beds are very comfortable! There are two big comfy chairs right in front of the living room window, which is where we sat much of the time. I did have a problem with the doorknobs though; the wide disk design is difficult to grasp for anyone with small and/or arthritic hands. At one point I thought I'd locked myself in the bathroom! My husband simply turned the knob and let me out. I was impressed that in addition to a hair dryer, there were two styles of diffusers - perfect for my curly hair. All in all, it was a really nice place to stay, and we hope to be able to stay there again.

This was our 40th anniversary/husband’s retirement trip. After all of the Covid stuff we were looking forward to this getaway. We have been to the area many times but with a different rental company so imagine our disappointment after an 8 1/2 drive to arriving to a house that wasn’t cleaned since last visitors. Beds were not done. Dirty towels in basket. Crumbs and coffee stains on counter. Dirty bathroom etc. We had to leave again for an hour so the lady could clean (after I called to complain). Not a great beginning to our trip. The cleaning lady didn’t have a key to restock supplies so we had to go out to buy things like toilet paper. She arrived 2days later at 7 pm to restock such things It was our actual anniversary and my husband answered the door in his robe. You would have thought the lady would have gotten a clue that was not an appropriate time. The bed was horrible. The only good thing was the view. Next time we will stay at Beachcomber’s Haven as before. We never we’re disappointed there.
