Fast booking, easy check in and out of the house. Clean bathroom and also had toiletries. It also has a kitchen and dining space. Cute small room with sockets near bed and also a great view

Wanted a double bed, got 2 single beds due to availability. WiFi was kind of slow but works.

The Höfn guesthouse was in a lovely position in town, near to the supermarket and the sea. The instructions to get in were very easy. We had two rooms booked with shared bathrooms. The rooms were comfortable and clean. All facilities were good, apart from one of the showers had very little water pressure. The man who came to clean the next day was lovely and recommended a few things for us to do.

Just the shower pressure wasn't great.

nothing without hot water

NO reply to our request for hot water on morning of second day. On checkout was told that it would not be repaired until the 22nd.Nov.(after we leave). Was told the main building had hot water (although told on day 2 that both buildings were affected). the owner had time to report back to us and to make arrangements to shower in the main building but did not. Lack of response was challenged and refund for inconvenience for no hot water was met by the owner with no consideration and language abuse. This owner had no regard for his guests and does not deserve to run a B&B business.

Room a bit small but consider good. Shared Bath room can be cleaner.

Really nice guesthouse, comfortable beds. 2 bath rooms and a kitchen available. We were lucky with only one other couple being around, so had plenty of space. Didnt have time to check out Höfn so no idea about location

There was a car on fire in the middle of the night - had quite a rough night.

The beds were nice.

The kitchen is a bit small, only one person could stay there. The bathroom rather not so tidy. The welcoming was unpersonal and not very friendly, when we had to call them, that was a bit a pity. I should have get an email with the information, but never received it.

When a storm hit with hurricane force wind gusts and the roads on almost the entire island were closed, we didn’t get any response to our questions when trying to contact the owner. Luckily we were able to take shelter somewhere else. We still haven’t received a response. Avoid this place.

Good location, average sized rooms, clean bathrooms, well-eqiupped kitchen. Great owner/host that let us wait out the wind storm until late evening.

Rather small dining (“common”) area - 3 tables only.

Rooms and common areas are as expected. The owner is amazing and very helpful. We were stuck there an extra night as the roads were closed, and he helped us figure out the best solution.
