Location and terrace

This property was not very clean. The bed was like sleeping in a bowl of oatmeal, way too soft and uncomfotable, and the sheets were torn. Property was not ready when I arrived even though I had a phone conversation with the owner a day before I arrived and two text messages telling him my flight had changed, of which he said 'no problem, I am always here'. I had to find other lodging the first night after almost 24 hours traveling. Owner made no attempt to financially put it right. Also, you could not stand in the shower as it was too low a ceiling and the hot water ran out easily even though I was using it frugally to shower by turning it off to soap up. Booking.com should mention the 51 steps to get to room with no elevator. It was ok for me but others may not be able to carry luggage up those steps.

Fantastic location. A few steps from shops, bars and restaurants and right near the beach.

The location is perfect, right next to shops, supermarket, train station, main square, yet it isn't noisy. The host came to pick me up at the train station, which was a really kind gesture. He was very welcoming and said if I needed anything to just ask. The flat has everything you need and hot running water.

Only one ring on the stove can be used at one time which made some cooking difficult especially if you want to make pasta and a sauce at the same time.

Position

The host was not available at our arrival and left no instructions at all about how to enter the place (it could have been so easy since there is a key locker with a code), although we had previously agreed on our arrival time.He also told us to call him by that time,as if he would have been in the neighborhoods, but he was not and his phone was just off because he totally forgot about us! This is unacceptable! So we waited more than 3 hours before being able to reach him! By the way we also tried to ring the bell,and the name on the door bell is different from the name on booking.com so you can just hope you are in the right place! The place is one night stay,A bit dirty and the bathroom is also awful,bad smelling and the “bath-shower” simply unusable. Hot water didn’t come,luckily for us it is summer!!! The host-when we found him- was kind but too absent minded,you cannot leave people waiting for hours and forget about them!!!!
