Issues with stove which was not easy to use and kept blowing the fuses

Very spacious house with beautiful views over Emu Bay. Well set up with everything you could need. We even had a koala in the tree in the front yard and an echidna and kangaroos in the backyard.

Be aware that there are no shops at Emu Bay so it is a short drive into Kingscote.

House is very well located underlooking the bay. Close to the jetty and boat ramp. Magnificent views from back porch and in the house. Well equipped kitchen , comfortable beds and very quiet. Bonus was koala in the front tree. Thank you for welcoming pack and wine.

Location and scenery was great, with native animals all around and it is value for money compared to others in the area.

Some of the facilities are getting to their use by date, (stove,light switches, clothesline) and the garden/outside area could do with an up grade.

Thank you for your hospitality and understanding with the cancellation of the ferry due to bad weather. We had a lovely peaceful and relaxing stay in your well equipped house. Fantastic fire with plenty of wood. Beautiful Emu Bay beach is just a short walk away with Kingscote a short drive. We found Emu Bay to be a good base for getting around to see KI's attractions. The back yard isn't fenced but the large enclosed verandah was perfect for our dog. Oh....and penguins! We didn't see them but we heard them! :)

Fantastic view, great host that comes out and help you when you needed help.

water heater will run out of hot water if you are not careful on how long you shower. Electric stove is very slow for cooking. recommend to use electric frying pan instead.

A very well equipped cottage in a peaceful and beautiful location. It was nice to have the wood fire on cold nights. Good wi-fi, comfy beds, fully self contained accomodation. All round, very good.

Loved the view of the bay from the kitchen and back verandah. Quaint, cosy and homie. Nice fire place which was well used during our stay. Plenty of firewood. Loved the breakfast provisions from Kangaroo island and the coffee pods. Plenty of space. Awesome sunrises.

Loved the view location and the wood fire. The price was also good for 5 days. A nice comfortable stay.

Not enough tea coffee or sugar for a 5 day stay. Other than that everything was provided in the cupboards for cooking, although very untidy could do with a clean inside draws and cupboards.

Well equipped kitchen. Lovely wood fire on the cold nights. Big backyard. Nice quiet location, could hear the penguins down at the beach overnight. Close to nice beach. Table tennis table in shed. Good pressure in shower, lots of hot water.

Shed could do with a bit of a clean up, bit dusty.

View magical, house (especially beds) comfortable, fire brilliant.

Front door hard to lock and no key to lock security door so felt uncomfortable leaving property for trips. Annoying toilet roll holder.

The wood fire, the view, the management and the location were a bonus to what turned out to be an excellent choice.

Hard to find anything to complain about, maybe the bedsheets were over starched! It was exactly what we wanted, but be aware that it is a 20 minute drive from the nearest retail or dining options.
