The villa was super quiet, comfortable and spacious with a balcony that was private and over looked a pretty, treelined creek. It was an easy walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants. Even though we didn't opt for breakfast to be included, there was a welcome basket that included a loaf of sour dough, some local butter, vegemite, jam, cookies and some milk and yoghurt in the fridge as well as tea and coffee pods. The staff were really friendly and helpful too.
There was no hotplate in the kitchenette (we gave this feedback and they said they'll look into supplying the units with one) so we cooked on the bbq without realising there was a cleaning fee. Apparently it was written in the folder but I didn't read it. Other than that the place was fantastic

I absolutely loved staying at Ttranquil Gatways on Obi Maleny. I will definitely go back if I can and I highly recommend for everyone who wants refill their positive energies or have a relaxing rejuvenating time. The view from the balcony is exceptionally beautiful! You can see all the animals living in the crystal clear creek water😄

Barb and Greg, we’re great to communicate with and the process leading up to my stay went exactly as they said. The villa was very modern and clean. Was in a great location , walking distance to everything in town.

Location was great. Lovely and quiet. We were greeted by the owner on arrival (even though we had contactless check in so it was a nice surprise).
There was everything we needed in the villa for a kid free getaway. And the place was within walking distance for anything else we may have needed.
The jet bath was lovely. And with a view!
The bed was comfy enough for a two night stay but every time the other person moved in the bed, I felt it.
I also found the fact that the place moved when we walked about very disconcerting! Maybe because it was up on stilts?

Location was very close to the main street with all the restaurants and shops. Stayed here to attend a wedding nearby and added on an extra night to relax. Cabin was overlooking a serene creek and sitting on the balcony with wine and cheese was delightful.

The central area in the house was excellent for family gathering. When other in out party had rented cabins we could all gather for meals.
No door for ensuit in cabin.

Amazingly clean and beautiful!! Absolutely stunning.Even the tea selection was fantastic!! Thank you so much for a comfortable stay.
Only fault was the bat noise which wasn’t that bad really ..and the property has taken measures to mitigate which was nice… it’s something they can’t change at all..

We loved the location, the beautiful creek, trees and bird life. There was a lovely balcony that looked out to the creek it was so relaxing. The location is great u can walk to shops and there was a lovely Italian restaurant we had dinner at, both nights.😊
It’s not something that u can change but the bats are sometimes very noise especially at night. So if u are a light sleeper then this may be something to think about. I was ok to deal with it because the location is so good.

We always love the secludedness of everything, the beautiful scenery and wildlife; the bats were crazy this time! It’s close to the town, the lovely Italian restaurants and shops.

The location was perfect we could walk everywhere. The accommodation was very comfortable equipped with everything needed and more.

Absolutely loved The Obi creek view!! Was so so relaxing and comfortable!!
On the last night, we had no lights working because unawaringly the key was broken. And when messaging the owner then calling.... there was no response til the next morning when I seen the owner outside. AND I had no reception unless in a certain spot. Other than that... it would've been a PERFECT 10!!!!

Excellent location by the banks of the Obi river yet only 5 minutes walk to the town's main street and to supermarkets and cafes. The "cabin" was beautifully quiet at night and the bats in the trees along the Obi river mean you don't need an alarm clock to wake up!
Overall the facilities are very good. The only negative was that the sofa in the living room of our cabin, which is clean and looks good, could be improved to provide better lumbar support.

Excellent location. Jodi was wonderful to deal with. Some of the little extras you may have forgotten are provided in the villa which is very thoughtful. The view from balcony over Obi creek is just beautiful and peaceful. Very private.
Perhaps a new mattress or just a high mattress topper is needed. A bit hard on our old hips. :) But honestly this was only a small glitch in a wonderful stay.
