Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff and great rates.
No complaints!

Rooms were good, nice place! Good location.
Shower heads were loose, fresh paint on the outside and a pressure wash would be nice.

We could not have been happier with our stay. Leslie and the rest of the staff was very attentive to our needs. The Alpine Inn is small enough where you get that extra attention you don’t see at large complexes.

Didn't know there was a breakfast. I love the location. Bed was extremely comfortable. Room was clean and pleasant.
I was happy.

We really enjoyed our visit. The bed was so comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was over the top nice. They had cornhole and a fire pit.
There was alot of noise and very loud music playing in the courtyard until eleven at night.

I loved the location and the atmosphere of the place.
The walls are thin. I could hear every step the people above me too and I could hear the folks next to us talking (not sure if it was because they were loud or if it was a joining room).

Close location to main st
Property is run down. We were told to move our car because despite the sign saying guest check in, it’s the owners spot and we had to move before check in. The shower was dirty and had hair in it. We left for a little while and staff entered our room for no reason and snooped around. I left my purse under the pillows, it was laying ON the pillows when we got back. One side of the covers had been tucked in as if someone was looking under the mattress. Dirty towels were still there, bed was unmade. So they can’t even say that they were cleaning. Not a good look and as far as I could tell nothing was missing. But there was no cash in it. And the refrigerator wouldn’t close. My husband had to get tools out of the truck to remove the frost so the door would stay shut and my meds kept cold.

Lindsey & Vernon are Great !!! They go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable and have what they need. Check in is super easy !
Parking is a bit of an issue but it's Helen... Parking is limited and tight everywhere in the town.

It’s very close to downtown Helen. The manager was nice.
It definitely needs to be updated. The doors should be replaced so that they don’t have an air gap and are easer to lock. Also we didn’t have a closet area in our room.

The pillows were amazing
The toilet didn’t flush well and wanted to constantly run, but that isn’t the worst thing ever!

We had a amazing time! I actually came down with my niece and daughter for my birthday and it was beautiful. Walking distance your close to everything but what made me fall in love with the place was the site manager I believe her name was Lindsey, she was very helpful and very thoughtful. They lit the fire pit and made sure the girls had hot chocolate.
The bed was little hard, but if the owners would invest in some mattress toppers I believe it would be win, win!

Stay somewhere else.
No staff. Everyone staying there was either drunk or partying. Yelling till 3am. Banging on walls till 3am. Had their TVs on full blast & no staff was on sight to complain. It was a horrible experience for 2, 71 year olds on a Christmas vacation. Sheets were dirty. No towels. No toilet paper. Will never, ever, stay at this place again.

Lindsay was the best! I needed to change rooms and she made it happen. It was more work for her, but she went over and beyond to get it taken care of.
The rooms were clean and a good size. However the walls are paper thin !!! I mean really thin! So if I stay there again I will make sure it’s my family in the room beside me!

It was in walking distance to everything
During our stay we heard fighting with the people next door and the floors are so thin you will hear the people walking above you all during the night, these people never slept cause I believe they were on drugs and obviously drugs are being sold at this establishment.
especially if they have children above you get ready to put headphones in

Nothing!
When we first arrived I was very skeptical of the facility. When we were assigned to room #4 the bedspread was dirty, we found a worker his name was Vernon, and told him that we did not feel comfortable and we wanted a refund on our credit card. Vernon said that his wife wasn’t there to refund our card and that he didn’t know how to refund our card. He told us that he was cleaning another room and to give him a few minutes to finish cleaning it and that we could take a look at #5. Well it was a little bit better so we stayed (Bad Mistake) the people above us walked the floor all night so very little sleep did we get. We told Lindsey and Vernon the owners and they said that they would try to put the next renters above us that would be a little more quiet. Now we our on our last night of 3 at 10:45 pm there was a kid above us running the floor and stomping like a wild Indian. I called the owners and complained and I was told that she would go and tell them to quieten it down. The water in the shower was lukewarm at its best and let’s not forget the nasty black ring under the rim of the bowl (and I have pictures to prove it)So I say to you BEWARE!!

Room had cobwebs in the bathroom. Beds were horrible and the bathroom needs updating.

This place was so cute! It was clean and fresh. The woman and gentlemen running it gave my babies marshmallows to roast on the cozy bonfire outside. It's very close, walking distance to downtown Helen. The bed was comfortable and it smelled fresh when we walked in.
It wasnt anything major, but it was a little tough to get the lock done, you have to pull the door in to lock the deadbolt for the room I was in.

Very convenient location, super clean, easy to get to. The managers, Lindsey and Vernon, are great and friendly people. They had bonfires going at night and let us borrow an umbrella. I felt very comfortable and welcomed.
The only downside was the beds were very firm and uncomfortable to me. The parking lot is also a little cramped, so it might be harder to park if you have a bigger car.

This is the cutest hotel/inn in Helen. Very centrally located walking distance from everything in town. Friendly staff, and the little community area with firepit and pool table were a great touch with a fire going every night. They also have cornhole setup. Private property so they don't mind you drinking and relaxing outside. The bathroom/tub could've been cleaner, but other than that the room was very cozy. Overall enjoyed our honeymoon here. Probably wouldn't stay anywhere else in town after staying here.

This is just the cutest place ever!! The outside is very Alpine and fits in with the town perfectly. We came a day early so we stayed in room 10 for one night. We moved to room 4 for the next two nights. Both rooms were extremely clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Nothing to complain about at all!!

The location was great. You could walk to Main St in a few minutes.
This place is tired and worn out. We could see around the door when it was closed. The towels were not very nice. They need replaced. Our beds were comfy; pillows were great. Our toilet was loose. It shook when you sat down on it. The tub was old and had worn spots.

The TV was a bit dodgy if you are not used to RUKU.

The managers were amazing. They could not do enough for every single guest. They made everyone feel at home and special. They would start a fire pit and guests would meet there and get to know each other and make friends.

Soft floor in bathroom area. Needs to be repaired.

Charming place. Very friendly and professional Inn Keeper. Noticed that it’s pet friendly (dogs were there). Parking on site. Cold refrigerator in room.
One pillowcase had a bloodstain on it and we didn’t have wash rags (hand towels were there in place of rags). The inside of our room had a bad odor. Maybe it was a combination of the age and a smoker being in there at some point. The bed wasn’t comfortable. Drove with windows down while leaving, trying to get scent off luggage and belongings. Bought air fresher to spray down our jackets and items that were in the room.

Central location, easy walk to all of Helen, friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. They really went above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable time for their guests.
