The complimentary wine and biscuits were a nice surprise.

It was on a busy noisy road. Seats in lounge were uncomfortable.

Good location and comfortable. Neat, tidy and lovely decor. Slept well.

Lovely, warm and clean cottage in a great location within walking distance of Aldeburgh centre and beach. A Tesco Express and Co op at the end of the road. Great location to visit other beautiful places in Suffolk. A good choice of cottage if you are visiting Aldeburgh.

The shower water pressure was rather weak. The wind whistled through the windows of the master bedroom so some draught sealant would help. The two lounge sofas weren’t terribly comfortable!! The bathroom cold tap needs fixing. Other than that all was fantastic!

The location for the town and the coast The house was very warm and cosy The Christmas touches and welcome gifts were lovely and appreciated.

The shower / bath due to extreme low pressure of water and that the shower was either very hot or very cold No cold water from the bath tap whatsoever

The house was ideal for our three night stay - warm, comfortable, tastefully furnished and decorated, with a very well equipped kitchen. A bottle of wine, biscuits and crisps on our arrival was a most thoughtful touch. We would absolutely choose Walnut Cottage should we visit the area again.

There was nothing we didn't like - other than the end of our stay in this delightful little house!

The cottage was exactly what we wanted for our stay in Aldeburgh, comfortable, clean with street parking. We would happily stay there again.

The cottage is ideally situated for walking to Aldeburgh town centre and the beach. We managed to park right outside the property. Cottage has been very nicely decorated and furnished and has a cosy, homely feel. The kitchen has everything you'd need to cook a meal and the garden is lovely with comfy garden furniture. The bedrooms are also light and well furnished and decorated and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom is great with a very easy to operate shower.

The only 2 minor criticisms: toilet seat could do with replacing, it is quite stained and blistered. The controls on the oven have worn away so it was total guesswork when it came to cooking a pizza!

Great location ..5 minutes walk into town. Good facilities ...like home from home.

Fantastically well-appointed cottage just a 10-minute walk (or 5-min cycle) from Aldeburgh seafront.

Good location. Loved the back garden. Light and airy.

Hot water failed on our last night. Rather mean with allocation of soap (one tiny piece) and toilet rolls (2 for our 4 nights stay). No pepper. The oven and microwave took a long time working out how they operated. Rather noisy main road.
