This beautiful hidden gem is a perfect quiet getaway within easy driving distance of Cairns. we loved not having the distractions of television and getting back to enjoying nature. The pool is just divine!

View, location and pool all amazing. Beautiful property, we will definitely return. Just a short drive to Port Douglas. Beautiful place to stay.

The only thing id change is the bed, which was as hard as a rock, extremely uncomfortable so I couldnt sleep both nights but the couch was comfy.

Beautiful area & spacious venue. Kids loved the pool and lots of room for adults to relax. We appreciated the large indoor area that was open plan and air conditioned to cater to wet or dry and escape the mosquitoes. We took along books, puzzles and board games and there was plenty of space for the whole family to relax or do an activity of their choice both indoors and out.

Overall a lovely stay but a couple minor issues. These likely could have been resolved easily but our host did not respond to an initial email so we did not bother them with any further queries. Bearing in mind our stay was between Xmas and new year, so potentially just not an ideal time. Two empty hand soap dispensers in the bathroom but no soap to refill them. Some lights were either not working or could not find the switch. Pillows without pillow cases on the kids beds. I would have appreciated the venue description to recommend bringing mosquito repellent as the outdoor areas were practically unusable without it. We needed to purchase hand soap, sugar and repellent which is fine but would have preferred to do so beforehand and not during our stay.

Location was picturesque, the sound of the ocean all day and night was so relaxing, swimming in the pool and looking out to the beach was amazing, felt like we were overseas on a paradise sland

Really wasn't anything to fault

This is one of the best places we've stayed. Peace cabin is very peaceful indeed. The owner is a great help too Thanks Phill

Whats not to like recommended by all of us!

The rain came in heavy and water was pouring in over the day bed and over the top of the coffee machine and electrics
