This property was pretty much everything we were looking for. Loved that we could walk down the road to the Hot Springs in our robe, which I did twice a day every day! Fenced yard was perfect for our small dog. Kitchen was bright and spacious and well stocked with nice pots and pans. Our teenager used one of the bedrooms and our 11 yo enjoyed the cute single pull-out sofa in the living room. (P.S. Couldn't find a sheet to use for that so we used a blanket we had along). The cottage was a lot cuter and brighter than the pictures show. The recliners got alot of use. We will definitely stay here again. The only thing that would have improved our experience is a washer dryer in the unit, but we managed without. Maybe a drying rack to set up for the towels would have been a great addition since we couldn't wash and dry our towels. Absolutley loved it!!!

The house was just as described. We loved the location to the hot springs and to the town. We were disappointed with the beds. Very uncomfortable. We also would like to see a full size couch in the cozy living room. I was bummed about having to purchase the insurance, that was a first for us.

This little house is a gem. Clean and nice. Small bathroom/shower but everything was good.

The property was just as listed. Very close to all you need to do in Saratoga. Very close to hot springs. The fenced yard was great for our dogs and much appreciated. Check in was simple. We had a lovely time and would recommend to all.

We absolutely loved our stay in Saratoga and will be back. The proximity to the river, the hot springs, the laundry mat and downtown…all within walking distance. The dogs loved the huge fenced in backyard. We also appreciated the fans.

The property, the town, the people, and the restaurants were terrific! What a great walking town! We very much enjoyed our stay!

This is a nice roomy cottage. It had all that my hunting buddy and I needed. Two items that does need to be noted. The bath room is entirely to small for a grown man that is 6'-2". The smallest shower I have ever seen. Hardly enough room around the sink to lay your tooth brush. The great room has a love seat where a full couch would be better served and the TV only had Netflix to watch. I would have liked some local news and weather and some sports options like ESPN.

We found this cabin to be one of our favorite places that we stayed on our recent camping trip. We were gone a month and went to many hot springs and found this jewel of a cabin to be the best! It was clean and had all the amenities that we needed included deer in the back yard and bunnies to entertain us in the yard. We highly recomment it!

This little house had a lot of potential. Here are the pros: 5 minute walk to the adorable, clean and lovely free hot springs Easy walk into town River runs behind the house and made for a lovely place to sit and eat/drink Big kitchen 2 bedrooms, so my friend and I had our own spaces Way, way, way more comfortable than the tiny overpriced hot springs hotel would have been. Cons: The kitchen was not well equipped. If you want to cook there you probably need to bring everything you need. The living room area was big but furnished in a way that was completely uncomfortable. There were only two of us and not adequate furniture for us to both sit and look at each other and be comfortable. Very strange furnishings! The bathroom is super tiny and there's nowhere to put your stuff No air conditioning, though we were there in hot weather and the fans did an adequate job keeping us comfortable Decor is very outdated and made the perfectly lovely little home feel much less lovely than it could have been Overall I would stay here again if needed because it was a good value for the size and location.

Just the right location for us, nice deck to sit in the shade. You can walk if you like to hot springs, restaurants in town. Would be nice for more comfortable seating in the living room.

Charming cottage in a GREAT location. Two friendly rabbits out back and fourgentle deer grazing beyond the back fence...seriously, who could ask for more?? All around perfect stay🌻

My friend flew in from California for a brief weekend visit while I was home from Istanbul. This house was a great place for us to stay up all night catching up and laughing. The backyard and porch were great for laying out in the sun and you can’t get any closer to the hot springs. We especially loved watching the wildlife (the deer family and bunny family) out the windows during our stay. Thanks so much for a great place!

Adorable cottage near the river and Hot Springs makes for a relaxing get-away! Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, and charming outside sitting area felt like home away from home. I look forward to the next time I can make the trip to Saratoga!

Very close to hot springs

I needed a place In Saratoga. Not to live at but basically bunked there. The kitchen was large and a little slopped. Some unexpected steps here and there. Fireplace was cozy and simple to use.

This little house was perfect for what we needed. It was warm and cozy, close to town and the river and perfectly appointed.

A nice clean cabin, big enough for 4, location puts you within walking distance of many/most of Saratoga's fun spots. Hobo Hot Pool very close, hit it about every night. The only thing that could be better, but will certainly not keep us from coming back, is the shower is small, mighty with great water, small in size if you are 6+ ft.

Needs a fly swatter. Really, the house was very nice. I wished there had been a few cooking staples--like salt and pepper. one really needs to take everything if they are going to cook. There are pots, pans, a couple of bowls, plates, glasses, and a few cooking utensils.[no spatula]. I loved all the clean big windows. We would like to stay there again.

My wife and I stayed here for one night. Located on a side street in Saratoga, the cottage is easy to find being a few blocks from Highway 130. The cottage is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Ample parking is readily available in front of it. The look of the cottage interior is a most pleasant surprise as it has been properly renovated while appearing very tastefully decorated and furnished. The beds are most comfortable. More than sufficient hot water was there for us. We would stay here again!

The property was clean, everything worked, great decor, comfortable and the owner was easy to contact. The one thing that could have been a deal breaker was we were given a "total" price then told that $50 of insurance was also required. The owner got this fee dropped. We have been using VRBO for years, but it is becoming a pain.

Really cute cottage! Plenty of room for the two of us. Will come stay there again.

comfortable accomodations

The River Cottage was very clean and charming! We were pleased with the location and the house was cute as could be. We woke to deer in the back yard both mornings we were there. Great fenced yard for our dog also!

Love this cottage and the owners are extremely nice and accommodating. The place was clean, tastefully displayed, and in a great location. Good choice for a family of four or a girl's getaway weekend. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard. Located 1-block from the hot pools, and an easy walk to downtown dining, the cottage is an excellent place to stay in Saratoga.
