Lovely, cosy cottage, central but quiet location, pretty furnishings and pictures, useful instructions (e.g. how to work TV, cooker and other appliances)
The boiler stopped working one evening but this was fixed the next morning so not a major problem.

The location is perfectly located to enjoy the lovely art galleries and shops in Kirkudbright. It is such a lovely, quiet place to visit and perfect for access to lovely walks around the area.

Very central yet quiet location. Wood burning stove.
Bit of a personal allergy going on possibly feathers. Wood burner difficult to stay lit possibly damp wood from garage.

Warm and cosy. We have stayed there previously (x2) had a lovely log burner with plenty of wood supplied. The sofa and chairs in the lounge were so comfy, a defo upgrade

Location was excellent, and very convenient
Parking on the narrow, one-way street was sometimes difficult. There were one or two minor issues with the cottage, which could do with a little updating, but nothing which would put us off returning.

A nice cottage in the centre of Kirkcudbright, very short walk to shops, restaurants, pubs etc. Plenty of space to park near the property. Comfortable beds, decent shower in the bathroom and the kitchen is fairly well equipped; good to have a dishwasher and washing machine. Very efficient heating and underfloor in the bathroom. There's a tiny paved courtyard garden, just about big enough to sit in but nice enough. Great for a few days break and close to beaches, walks etc.
Tiny towels in the bathroom, lots of notes around the house about how things work and some contradict the instructions in the house manual. The property was clean enough but not spotless. Nice TV but complicated to use via Sky and we couldn't use catch up as a pin was needed to use and obviously pin number is not supplied as it could be used inappropriately.
