乗鞍岳山頂（畳平）へのシャトルバスの発着所でもある乗鞍高原観光センターまで徒歩数分なので，朝早い時間帯のシャトルバスに乗りたかったり，「ご来光バス」に乗りたかったりするようであれば立地的にとても便利です。また，小川の流れる音が聞こえるのでとても癒される環境で，宿の周辺を散策するだけでも楽しいです。
子どもたちはとてもリラックスして過ごせたようで，「自分ちみたい」と言っていました。
食事は松本市内にあった長野県のご当地スーパー「TSURUYA（ツルヤ）」で食材を買い，道具の揃ったキッチンで楽しく調理して食べました。
冷房がないので時季や時間帯によっては暑く感じるかもしれません。8月中旬の夕方はやや暑く感じました。とはいえ，日が暮れた後に窓から吹き込む風は涼しくて爽快でした。

The apartment was great. Very clean and quiet. Well equipped kitchen and laundry etc. Beautiful area in the mountains! Helpful staff!
The bedroom curtains were very sheer and thin meaning you woke up as soon as the sun came up. I asked for some sheets to try to block the light which helped a bit. When I’m on holiday I really prefer not waking up with the birds!
I also found that there were small steps near doors that we both kept missing which were dangerous if you slipped. I also stubbed my toe a number of times on the uneven timber floor which was just part of the design.

very spacious with a well equipped kitchen and laundry. close to Kamikochi and nestled in amazing nature. we felt very secluded and peaceful.
there’s no sink in the toilet, and the bathroom could be more luxurious (although it works fine). the floor is a bit uneven and we kept stumping our toes!

Excellent service and property. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Property was super clean and everything was thoughtfully placed. Fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable stay for our family of 4. Great location, accessible to nearby bus stop and just a few minutes walk from the base of the snowfield!

Owners were friendly. Check-in was straightforward. Location is excellent. It was very convenient for our family with a small child. It was more than adequate for our purposes. We would stay again for the convenience and ease of check in.
Apartment smelled a little musty. Although it's partly refurbished there's still work to be done to make it value for money. The photos make it look a little better than it is.

Great atmosphere! Felt cozy and comfortable. Beautiful setting and the mountain bike/snowboarding decor was fun!

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was helpful and kind and gave us some suggestions for dinner places and stargazing areas. The shared lounge areas both on the first and second floor were very spacious and suitable for hanging out as a group. The outdoor area was also super relaxing. Although there are no private showers or baths in the rooms, it was nice that this place had a private bathroom available for families or couples in addition to the shared baths. The breakfast was very filling and wonderfully delicious! We only stayed for one night this time, but we hope we can stay longer next time and also enjoy the other activities / services that we didn’t have time for this time around!

Excellent Location. Lot of included things to do in the guesthouse (Hammock, table tennis, fussball).
Hey also offer bikes and adventure activities at an extra cost.
Did not include toiletries (toothbrush). A few basics i side the room would have made it perfect

Norikura is a gorgeous nature spot, and Northstar Alpine Lodge is in the heart of it. We skied, snowshoed, visited hot springs, and relaxed. The meals are hearty (great bread!), and the staff incredibly warm and genuine. Will definitely visit again!
