La chambre n est pas terrible par rapport au prix...La clim faisait un bruit de tracteur, impossible de dormir avec, mais impossible de dormir sans etant donne que nous etions en rez de chaussee (de plus il faisait trop chaud pour ouvrir les fenetres). Le personnel n'etait pas du tout desole pour nous, on aurait pu penser que c etait notre faute etant donne le peu d'interet qui nous a ete porte. La chambre etait ultra humide, pas tres saine. Tres mauvais rapport qualite prix. Resto bof bof et tres tres cher

Vuil zwembad, troebel water en vol dode insecten. Gemeld aan receptie en dat gebeurde veel zei de receptioniste. Handdoeken aan zwembad vol gaten. (Oud en versleten) Zeer onvriendelijk personeel! Met 3 volwassenen een familiekamer besteld en 2 smalle bedden van 140cm!! Heel klein bad met vies douchegordijn!! Poetsvrouw kwam om 8u ‘s morgens binnen zonder kloppen!! Etensresten van andere gasten bleven liggen in de gang van dag ervoor. Ontbijt: opnieuw zeer onvriendelijk personeel, triestig buffet. Het slechtste hotel ooit!

Bed was comfortable, gym was huge and well equipped. Pool also looked very nice though we didn’t get to use it.

The staff was strange, not very welcoming. Receptionists were all quite clueless about the offer we picked (early check in, late check out, $50 credit), and didn’t seem to really know what to do with it. I had to negotiate a 2pm late checkout, clearly, nothing would have been given to me if I hadn’t asked despite having paid for it. When having breakfast, we were told that it was not included, then told it was, but upon leaving we were told we had to pay. Housekeeping entered the room twice despite the do not disturb sign on the door and the late check out confirmed upon arrival. I was very unhappy with that, mentioned it at the reception, but nothing was really done, I felt like nobody cared. That’s the general feeling I had: an indifferent and cold staff, at the limit of rudeness. It didn’t seem Spanish speakers received the same treatment though. Upon check out, nobody asked us how the stay went. The room also had a very unpleasant smell, mix of humidity and dust. It was huge but very empty, cold, and pretty old - no decoration, no furniture apart from a poor armchair lost in the middle. A quite disappointing stay overall, I would only recommend for a short stay after or before a flight.

The hotel is 5 minutes from San Jose International Airport so very handy if your catching a flight

Staff weren't really bothered. Food in the restaurant was poor, in fact we both left our evening meal. Worst food on our whole holiday. I emailed the hotel several times and never got a reply.

Sent a message to clarify availability of shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. No response. Website said bus runs regularly but after waiting for over an hour with no bus had to get a taxi to the hotel.

It’s beautiful, the rooms are big and the breakfast was tasty.

Changing the reservation was a nightmare. The reception people gave us a real hard time. We had to call them and email them and even come to the hotel a week before our reservation. They could not coordinate with Booking about the change in the reservation. For 5* hotel the reception people should be better trained and polite. So is the lady who cooks breakfast. She just told us “no English” and she looked very angry. It was a surprise for so big hotel where the guests come to from around the world.

Die Zimmer waren sehr groß, sauber und mit bequemen Betten. Das Hotel bietet einen stündlichen kostenlosen Flughafen Transfer an und das Bar Personal war super freundlich.

Restaurant und Bar Preise sind mehr als Wucher! Zum Glück gibt es nebenbei einen Supermarkt und andere Restaurants. Außerdem war das Rezeptionspersonal unfreundlich und hat nichts von selbst erläutert oder erklärt.

Location is terrible. It is excessively expensive. Adult pool over run by children. Not enough sun loungers, people were seen lying on the floor. Bathroom was not clean.

El entorno creado en la zona de la piscina es muy agradable.

Pedí para cenar una ensalada y un plato de salmón y me cobraron 60 dólares. Para mayor sorpresa, el día siguiente pedí un café espresso y me costó 9 dólares. Me parece un abuso en toda regla, por ello lo manifiesto por este medio.

El conserje no nos quiso ayudar u ofrecer alternativas de excursión para que nosotros pudieramos realizar por nuestra cuenta, solo estaba interesado en vendernos paquetes turísticos.

Beim Empfang wurde uns nicht viel mitgeteilt über die Analge, wir hatten eine Mastersuite, keinen Balkon, der Blick aus dem Fenter war auf eine Wand und ein Dach. Der Wohnbereich der Suite hatte Blick auf den Hotelflur. Wir wollten ein Bad einnehmen, das war nicht möglich da der Stöpsel nicht ging, Housekeeping konnte uns auch nicht weiter helfen. Die Klimaanlage war so kalt, leider war es uns und auch dem Housekeeping nicht möglich diese etwas wärmer zu stellen. Das Frühstück in der Lounge war sehr überschaubar. Die Anlage ist in die Jahre gekommen.

This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel - it's completely misleading. Room smelled very badly of damp and I needed inhaler to sleep. shower was poor since head is blocked and water comes out in a trickel. Poor pressure and temp is impossible to control.Bath was chipped and ancient. sink taps wobble and loose. Whole room is dilapidated - no water in room, no hair dryer. I don't know where the 5 stars come from - my next night stay was in a 2 star elsewhere in CR and it was far superior to this.

The hotel grounds were beautiful and the rooms were spacious. I enjoyed breakfast by the pool, there was a good variety of hot and cold foods as well as fresh juices. I also ordered room service and the food was good. There was a small problem with my order but the staff worked quickly to address it and I was happy with the outcome.

The beds were really firm, which I am not a fan of.
