The bathroom is a bit noisy while being used

The host allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in which was very helpful. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated with very large bathrooms. The location, just 10 minutes walk from the railway station, close to the Duomo and a tram stop, was excellent. A very good breakfast was provided the next day.

There was a smell of sewage in one of the bathrooms and lingering smells of tobacco smoke in both rooms. Otherwise we were very pleased with the accommodation, service and location.

Check if your room is in the hotel or apartments next door, both are perfectly fine, but you might prefer one over the other in terms of room space. We didn't realise, but were happy with the apartment.

Messina in general was a surprise packet, so to find great accommodation was a real bonus. We stayed here on arrival to Messina, and this was a return visit as we changed plans at the end of our stay in Sicily. Really comfortable & spacious room - noting we stayed in the adjourning apartments, not the hotel we stayed in the first time. It was no problem at all though to have breakfast in the hotel, rather than the self serve option in the apartments - but this is completely satisfactory.

This is minor, but In the apartments you need 3 keys to access your room, whereas the hotel security is all via entry codes, which we found handy, especiallyif you're doing a few things separately. . Overall though this wasn't a huge issue.

Great location. Very clean and well kept. Rosa was extremely helpful and patient in explaining things.

The only “worrying” thing was how noisy the bathroom pump was. It sounded like the whole wall was about to collapse every time the washroom was used.

Close enough to the entre whilst away enough to be quite at night. Beautiful Room and good breakfast.

What a little gem of a hotel with a great location 5mins walk from Train/Ferry port and 5 mins to the main square with plenty of places to eat and drink. Staff were super helpful and whilst I was embarrassed to not speak Italian their English was perfect. Can't recommend the hotel and the staff enough!!

Beautiful B&B, everything perfect!

I booked this room just for one night as I had an early ferry to the islands so I wasn't expecting much. However, I was really impressed by the double showers and by how comfy the beds were and loved the sea view. The location was perfect as this B&B is only 10 minutes from the train station and 5 minutes from the port. I loved the nearby restaurant recommended by the B&B. As I couldn't stay for breakfast I really appreciated the complimentary tea/coffees available at reception. I did grab a croissant at 7.30 when the breakfast room opened.

The larger rooms are on the second and there is no lift. This wasn't much of an inconvenience as I had a light case and the lady at reception offered to carry it upstairs.

Staff so kind, caring and very professional. The room was perfect and very clean. Nice decoration and comfortable. The place is great also with a small child. I will definitely go back when I stay in Messina.

Everything, but the host, in particular. She was very nice and helpful, she came to our aid, even though we arrived there at 10 o clock at night.

Accepting guest only at 15h00(was 10min late) No aircon, advertising food and drinks but dont have any in stock, having breakfast in the room, there was mosquitos, and just that feeling that they not really compassionate about guest that has travelled and tired and NOOOOO Flexibilty of any kind!! Was my worst experience ever
