My husband and I always book at Plaza Del Sol for a couple years now and when I arrive at the hotel the nice receptionist always greeted us with a smile and always knew that I booked thru booking and assigns us to the room with balcony facing the street that leads to the main boulevard. Recently, the last three bookings the receptionist is not the same and has assigned us a room that does not have the balcony. I went ahead and stated on my last booking a room with a balcony and when we arrived she said that all rooms were filled with the balcony and view and we told her if she could accommodate our request and she did but after I mentioned to her that I put that request on my booking. I think there is a different hotel management for booking requests because even when I enter this request in my booking it's not followed thru. We really like staying at this hotel and would like if the request I enter in my booking would be respected if all possible, Thanks : )
