We loved the location and being in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale. We enjoyed being within walking steps to great restaurants and shops. On street parking was very easy, despite our visit during a bank holiday weekend.

Car Parking was a little bit of an issue on Saturday evening, but understandable as it was the Coronation Bank Holiday weekend

A really lovely apartment with great features and very comfortable beds. Easy to use the code to get in and nice to have 2 keys. Very central and close to the shops, pubs and restaurants. Able to go for a lovely walk too without using the car.

The bathroom is too narrow so not very easy to comfortably use. Would have liked some shower gel provided and some paper towels in the kitchen but these are little things. Wasn't very clear which bin to put the bin bag in outside so guessed.

Lovely place, central to the town, everything in town within 3 minutes walk.

Location was perfect and flat was very well appointed and supplied.

Flat was cold when we arrived, l think warmth is an important part of the immediate impression. Perhaps put heating on an hour before estimated arrival? Also felt quilt was a bit small.

Size (quite the Tardis), location, specification of appliances, cleanliness, comfort, the bathroom, the layout, the sheep's head :) pretty much everything really. Should you ever be looking to sell it, please let me know.

'Didn't like' is a bit strong, however, maybe a set/chest of drawers in the front bedroom would really finish the place off?

Super clean and everything you could want (except extra blankets/throws); washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea/coffee and cling film all provided which was fab for a short weekend trip. Easy to get to local facilities. Amazing TV choices! Lovely decor & clever use of space and design.

Being right on the High St I thought would be excellent. Being directly opposite the pub (seen from the bedroom window) in a property without double glazing was terrible. We were woken, as were our children, both nights. The flat was understandably cold with the heating being switched off when we arrived but we couldn’t find any extra bedding/throws so had to resort to the (albeit wonderful!) electric fire to heat up the flat for bed. It’s such a shame as the flat is brilliant but location means we couldn’t recommend and we wouldn’t stay again. I guess it would work if you were in fact in the pub until closing time each night and then just needed to cross the road for bed!

The Old Hay loft is a brilliant apartment on the main street of Kirkby Lonsdale. it's in a great location and is well appointed and comfortable.

If i was being a nit-picker i'd say that it would have been nice for the heating to have been on when we arrived as the apartment was cold and took a while to warm up.

Comfortable and cosy, yet feels modern. Ideal for my family. Centrally placed to all amenities.

No dislikes regarding property …sadly lack of parking could be a problem for a different family dynamic.

Exceptional stay in a lovely apartment, ideal for staying with family, location couldn’t have been any better, lots of places to visit close by. The apartment was absolutely spotless and the Host was so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay at the Old Hay Loft again.

Great location on the Main Street. Comfortable and well-equipped. Everything we wanted for our short break. Key collection was easy and flexible. Owner very helpful.
