We’ve stayed at this same cabin twice now, and we will continue to return! The cabin is in a perfect location with absolutely stunning views! If you are looking for a low key stay to truly relax and unwind without the hustle and bustle of more commercialized areas, this is your place! The property owner is wonderful to work with and very quick to respond. You won’t regret it if you book this quaint cabin!!

We had the most amazing time on our Christmas holiday at the cabin. The views were second to none, the hot tub was relaxing and the cabin was lovely. The host was extremely responsive and made sure we were welcomed and had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a romantic getaway.

If there is one reason you should book this, the view alone should be it. The property is clean and in good shape. Keep in mind it's the mountains and it's off the beaten path. We saw some cobwebs but nothing that concerned us. The hot tub was amazing. We spent many hours in it enjoying the view, the stars, and even being surrounded by the clouds. The deck has two Adirondack rocking chairs, perfect for enjoying the view and morning coffee. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and prepare meals. The shower has great pressure and we never ran out of hot water. Plenty of towels are provided and there is a Washer/Dryer combo and they provide detergent if needed. The host's communication was great and he was very responsive to our needs. A few notes for future guests: The key is obtained directly from the owner. This was great for us since he guided us to the property and it was already dark when we arrived. He showed us the interior, explained how to run the hot tub, and even mentioned some nearby attractions for us to see. Keep this in mind and contact them if you anticipate your arrival being very late. The house isn't "new" but it is nice. I've seen some reviews where people complain about little things being not quite perfect. We went for the view and solitude, not for a Waldorf Astoria experience. If you're seeking white glove turn-down service, I suggest you look elsewhere. Overall, this place is amazing and we will be back!

Absolutely perfect location for a couple’s getaway. The house was cozy with spectacular views. It was close to hiking trails and great restaurants. Highly recommend

As bed and breakfast owners, we were in need of time to ourselves to rest and recover. We are also more likely to see whats not as good than most people. Little did we ever dream we would find the perfect place at 3500 feet above sea level. The view is by far the one thing you cannot stop looking at. Even on July 4th, we got fireworks from multiple locations below. We had been to the area years ago with our kids. As empty nesters, we enjoyef some of the old fun like gem mining. But discovered new places like No 3 Grill at the Grassy Creek Country Club. This was the perfect place to rest and enjoy time alone!

The cabin was in excellent condition; clean linens, towels and rooms. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Wife and I were on R&R; once we checked in we stayed put; very serene atmosphere. The host was great; made everything easy; provided dining and areas of interest in the vicinity. Looking forward to next stay.

The vacation rental lacked general cleanliness. Cob webs were on the ceiling, fans and lights. The mantle had an incredible amount of dust / debris on it. The lights next to the beds were dusty and covered in hair. The lights over the sink were dusty and had hair stuck to them. Overall the home lacked in the cleanliness area.

Perfect basecamp for a Blue Ridge Parkway adventure. The hot tub and views were a great way to end a day of hiking.

Great place to stay - away from people but close enough to enjoy lunch at the Cafe or go to the Chalet for a nice meal! Simple just the way we like it! Coffee and cocktails on that deck just don’t get any better! Thanks Rick! We will be back!

View from back deck is spectacular. Fireplace is amazing. Hot tub was refreshing and clean. Its a 4 seater but really more like 2 adults comfortably. Cabin was clean and cozy. All of the necessary amenities for cooking meals are there. Cabin is close to local restaurants and a 15 min drive to Walmart. Road is gravel. Probably not for a low sports car but pretty well groomed. We highly recommend a stay here. Owner is very friendly and easy to work with.

Everything was quick/easy. Pictures don’t do it justice!!! Road is narrow & internet slow, but that’s to be expected for the location. Who needs internet or to leave with the views, fireplace & hot tub!! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & hope to return!

The view is absolutely stunning! It's a perfect place for a get away. Fits 2 people perfectly. Hot tub outside adds an amazing aesthetic to looking at the mountains and relaxing Amazing location like 10 min away from the blue ridge parkway. Owner was awesome! We had a slight plumbing issue and he was there within 30 minutes of us texting him. And fixed the problem immediately!! 10/10 would recommend and will gladly stay here again

Quick, simple check-in, owner was extremely nice and the view was AMAZING! We had a quiet and amazing weekend getaway; The home had everything you need to stay, plenty of towels, great TV selection, coffee maker, all spices and dishes you need to cook with! Definitely will be staying here again!!

This is a great place for a couple to relax. The view is spectacular. There are many places to go to enjoy more views of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We drove on the Parkway and went over a mile high. Can't wait to come back.

We loved staying here! My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and it was perfect! The view was gorgeous and everyone in Little Switzerland was so nice and friendly! Also the cabin is so well stocked and has a lot of things that many other places don’t usually have (ie olive oil, sugar, coffee filters, seasonings). We will definitely come back!

Impressive view, a Great Getaway place.

Ideal for a couples getaway. Only sounds we heard were nature and the rare car passing by on the mountain road. I've stayed in mountain cabins before, but this felt uniquely secluded. The host was friendly and helpful.

View a 10 plus. Cabin was well appointed with appliances dishes etc. In dire need of some up dating. Bedroom the worst, very dark and dingy not enough light, very dusty and smelly. Whole place needs a super cleaning.

Rick was awesome. First time I ever met someone I rented from. Gave us tips on where to go eat too. Best views in NC are off his back deck. Would definitely come back.

This property has an amazing view but the inside needs some definite upgrading. Very old inside. The toilet runs a little long and is noisy. 3 cans/bags for recycling which is great but simply labeling them would make it easier. Would be a great stay with some indoor changes.

Good location with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Linville Falls, and other scenic locations in the western North Carolina Mountains. It has an especially beautiful view, with a good deck to view it from. Our host, Rick, was very gracious and helpful.
