Bright, Charming River-Front Cottage, available monthly - 3 BR-2 Bath
Bright Homey Cottage sur la rivière Toms. Promenade récemment rénovée à côté de la maison donnant sur la rivière. Nouveau quai public à 100 pieds de la maison. (Pêche, pêche au crabe, patinage sur glace, natation et navigation de plaisance de toutes sortes.) Grande chambre des maîtres au 2e étage. Grande terrasse extérieure avec banquettes-lits d'extérieur intégrées et une vue imprenable sur la rivière Tom à Island Heights. Island Heights est un "village victorien" historique calme, à proximité des principaux magasins, des hôpitaux et de la célèbre promenade de Seaside Heights. Les promenades et attractions de «Jersey Shore» sont proches (15 min) mais semblent très loin lorsque vous êtes niché dans votre chalet confortable dans le petit terrier pittoresque d'Island Heights. La terrasse fermée du rez-de-chaussée est en verre 99% hivernisé avec des doubles vitres et des écrans tout autour. Ce pont a une belle vue sur l'eau et les bateaux naviguant sur la rivière Tom. Lorsque le temps le permet, ouvrez toutes les fenêtres et faites une sieste sur le lit de repos pour le vacarme nautique relaxant de la rivière Tom avec le bruit lointain des enfants qui jouent. Bienvenue à la maison....

This home was in an amazing location. We’ve rented several houses in Island Heights and this was by far our favorite. Helene made sure every one of our needs was meet from the time of check in to the time we left.

Our family felt welcome from the moment we walked in the door. The view was spectacular, i didn't want to miss the sunset each day. Other than food, there was really very little that wasn't provided by the owner. Island Heights is a hidden gem for families looking for a safe quiet place to vacation with their children but close to the beach and boardwalk. We would love to come back next year.

Our hosts could not have been more gracious and accommodating. We arrived quite late and they met us with friendly faces and a basket of food, much appreciated after an 11 hour car ride. The house is warm, cozy and has every amenity you would need. The views of the river are amazing. We watched a college regatta on Saturday that was incredibly picturesque. We would definitely stay here again.

The pictures didn’t do the house it’s actual justice. The view was amazing and the outside sitting area upstairs and downstairs were great for relaxing with others. Helene is an amazing house and there were no issues I would definitely rent this home again.

This home faces the water and the boardwalk and offers the best view of spectacular sunsets. We rented this house for 7 months while we looked for a home to buy. I would have been thrilled to live here permanently but the owner wouldn't consider it. We loved every minute of our stay.

What a fun lovely cottage! Great views from practically every room. Light, airy, and sunny throughout the day. You can wake up in the morning, sit on the lower deck, have your tea or coffee, and watch the boats go by. Then you go to the inside porch, lay down on the daybed or couch and take a nap. Later on have cocktails on the upper deck off of the expansive bedroom that has huge couches and watch the magnificent sunsets! There is fishing or crabbing right down the street on the public dock seconds away. Many options for relaxation and just hanging out and doing nothing. It is a sweet town with a boardwalk surrounding a large part and water water everywhere. Loved our time there! The only problem is that many people love it and it is often booked!

my family and i just recently rented this awsome home with our three small children .for five mts it was a great home the views are breath taking and would recommed this home to familys or any one that truly will enjoy peace . the owners are a true gem them self

The Jersey Shore gets a bad rap when compared to the Hamptons and Nantucket but the white cottage on the hill in Island Heights, NJ can hold its own in the company of any of those places. With unobstructed views of the Toms River, you can start your day perched on the downstairs deck sipping coffee while watching the boaters and fisherman then later escape to the upstairs deck for evening cocktails and a gorgeous sunset. Surrounded by cool art, loads of books and water views from most windows, the interior of this beach home exudes old world charm with all of the modern day conveniences. It's the perfect place to unplug, slow down and experience a simpler way of life. Plus Helene and Jim McMullen are extremely accommodating owners.
