Towels were good and sound proofing as very near A1. Staff pleasant and welcoming.

Pillows, very worn/used. I had forgotten phone charger and hotel did not have any to lend out or hire.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The lounge was able to accommodate all of our friends and visitors.

The room size was adequate but there is nothing you can do about that. There could have been more in the coffee tray.

Great location for my needs. Was met with a friendly face at reception, bar and the restaurant. Room was comfy

Gym was very tiny, almost unusable which is a shame. Would prefer a shower rather shower over bath but thats just a personal view

Location good. Excellent car parking space one reason I booked this hotel. Good breakfast & evening meal.

Double bed was a little small for two.

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Breakfast was the best breakfast we’ve had. We normally stay at the other Inn!!! But it trumped their breakfast by miles

Just a minor complaint. The toaster in the morning didn't make good toast. If you put it through once it came out only partly done, but if you put it through the second time it burnt.

Location of the Hotel to appointment. The staff were pleasant. The food was of an OK standard.

The hotel is looking dated. The TV didn’t work and the lightning in the room when off.

Not Dog Friendly, just Dog Tolerant. This is a massive difference and issue. As dogs are not allowed in public areas. So please advertise as Dog Tolerant. Dog rooms are allocated within the dungeons of the hotel, with a chained fire door for easy access to the outside. My room was at the end of a corridor where housekeeping is based. So It looks very dilapidated, rough around the edges My room was tiny with heavily marked walls, Also very dodgy plaster repairs. The bathroom was tiny, so not a lot of room to turn. If you're on the large side enjoy. The lighting in the room was odd. As an old varied selection of lights on the desk As I said dogs are not allowed in public areas. So I ended up getting room service. Which they forgot my drinks, I also got a big bowl of garlic butter instead of Garlic bread. I gave up causing a fuss as I was just hungry. Breakfast was an awkward affair as well. I had to go to the restaurant to plate up my own breakfast to take back to my room. As dogs are not allowed on their own for long periods, Hotel policy. Breakfast had a good selection. Quality was about average. The jam for toast was very nasty and commercial. Provided in very large glass containers, so you had to help yourself, which was unhygienic and unpleasant. The peanut butter and Nutella were left in their original manky jars for you to help yourself. To be honest completely below par for a Holiday inn. I have stayed in Holiday Inn Express in Somerset and they were wonderful. I paid just under £300 for 2 nights this included an extortionate dog fee (just me and my dog). Which dogs aren't allowed in public areas anyway. I wish I looked further afield as I would have gotten cheaper at a 4 star hotel. Just the location was good. I was expecting better things after staying in Holiday Inn's at various locations. Staff were ok, just looked overwhelmed, overworked and stressed.

Clean and presentable a little basic but had everything we needed.

It was really cold weather and the heating was off so we were very cold. Apparently the heating is switched off from spring to save money.

Always welcoming and value for money.
