The log cabin had so much charm. It immediately felt like home. No matter what window you looked out, nature’s beauty was all around.

The cabin is clean, well appointed and had everything you need for up to 10 people to stay over. It's about 30-40 mins to Cannon or Loon for skiing. If you are looking for restaurants or nightlife it isn't close by. Very secluded and private. I'm sure the place is active in the summer with the lake right there and tons of hiking. Owners are nice!

The cabin is very nice and the pictures online don’t do it justice. It’s down a dirt road that gets muddy in the rain but easy to find if you are looking for the street number. The kitchen is very well stocked, living room has lots of board games to play and the TV is easy to use. We didn’t use the fire pit but its accessible from the basement and there are chairs provided for outdoors. Downstairs there is 1 bedroom and bath with a shower, upstairs there are 2 bedrooms and a bath, just really 1 shower downstairs at this time but plenty of hot water so it worked out well. The home is super cozy and the woodwork is stunning (custom furniture,etc). We went up there for a skiing holiday and the home is within an hour of Attitash, Black Mtn, Loon, Cannon and others. Lincoln and Franconia are nearby and very cool towns. Follow the rules that are clear You're not staying in a hotel. We disposed of the trash daily, and brought our own sheets and towels. Upon exiting we left a couple of food wrappers and tissues in the bathroom trash by accident and did not put some of the pillows back in the bedrooms where they belong and the housekeepers charged the owners 2 extra hours of work. Carl was understanding with the challenges when I explained them and we worked it out. Upon check out give yourself an extra hour to go through the home ensure it’s the way you found it (take pictures upon arrival and exit), or else an extra charge is possible. If you can do that, you will love it!

The house is clean and warm like home. Manager is responsive. We all like it very much!

Enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Amazing location, great amenities, filled with all the supplies, easy check in and check out process. Our only concern was there was a leakage from second floor bathroom

Wonderful time, loved cool air in the morning

The cabin was beyond expectations. It was isolated and aesthetically pleasing as well as very clean. The hosts were very good about getting back to us when we had to add another day and everything was as described. Access to Mountain Lakes recreation area was a plus, and my entire family had a blast there. (My kids asked if we can move to New Hampshire) Overall, this was a great rental and I would stay here again.

A fantastic property! Very welcoming, clean, cozy and comfortable. Clear, concise directions given to get to the property. Lovely location, peaceful and quiet. The cottage literally had everything that one could possibly need. Thank you for such a great stay. Will certainly stay here again if in New Hampshire. P.S. Didn't see any bears

The house worked well for our stay. It is close to Mountain Lakes and has room to accommodate 1-2 families. We had a lot of fun.

nice visit. problem with the upstairs shower leaking. informed the owners and just used the first floor one to try and limit damage it could cause. carl responded timely. he asked about our stay otherwise. we shared some concerns regarding used toothbrushes, used open bars of soap, and used razors. carl insured he would bring up our concerns with their new housekeeper. while we understand soaps and shampoos were available, we thought they would be unused. we preferred to use our own but understand some may appreciate those items. we found many items left in the freezer. some items where unopened. some, like 2 ice creams were opened and eaten from. there was partial carton of special milk, a partial 2 qt juice, and multiple other items. all these things left little room in the freezer. maybe these things were left behind due to having to take your trash with you when you left, and not close by. seems that is pretty standard for the area as we saw few trash hoppers near houses. cell phone service is spotting in the area. the house has landlines, and if you have wifi calling on your cell they work at the house. i would check before going. my friends phone would not do wifi calling. the kitchen is well stocked although we did not find the paper towels. no biggie the stores not that far away. this was the first place we have stayed that washing towels and linens was required, and putting in room you got them from. it is manageable with the 12pm checkout.

The property was very nice. Secluded and very clean. Host was very good about getting back to us when we had questions. We brought all our own linens which I highly recommend unless you want to spend time doing laundry. House had a well stocked kitchen with pots and pans, silverware, plates, etc. Might want to consider adding a couple cookie sheets. Only issue we had was the jetted tub did not work. We advised owner and he is going to check into it. I would go here again.

Long weekend family gathering in vermont. Perfect location for us to stay. Convenient to everywhere. Loved the house. Had everything we need. Did bedding and towels for 5 beds in less than three hours. No problems.

Everything was exactly as pictured. We appreciated the color coded sheets for the different rooms. Mr. Lopes was very easy to communicate with, responsive, and reasonable. We would recommend this home to anyone. Mountain Lakes is also a great spot - nice to have access to the beach and pool there.

The cabin is nice. The beds not being made and towels, linens and dishes being washed and put away in cabinets before leaving is very strange requirements. I've stayed at many vrbo's and never had that requirement. Also, the listing says the kitchen is fully equipped like at home. Well the kitchen is definitely lacking pots and pans. There wasn't a pan to heat up spaghetti sauce or a fry pan for eggs etc...

Clean and comfy cabin with everything you need. Clear instructions and plenty of games and movies to entertain kids on a rainy day.

It was a lovely home with fireplace. Kitchen was well stocked. Linens and towels provided. Because a cleaning fee is added, we found it surprising that we had to dispose garbage 15 minutes away. We overlooked it because the fee was economical and the cabin was what we were looking for.

Wonderful time of year to hike and experience a New England Fall. Our purpose was to hike and enjoy time away and we succeed. Home is well-equipped, spotless and comfortable after a long day of hiking.

Pros: The house was well-equipped which was nice. The house is super private. Check in process was clearly communicated and it was very easy to get into the house. Cons: The house isn’t marked very well and was a bit hard to find. The accommodations are a bit outdated. The biggest con is the “wash and put away your own laundry” policy, which is extremely inconvenient and needs to be re-worked. To pay a daily cleaning fee (that is not a nominal amount) and to have to bring all your own linens or get up early and wash them all before a noon checkout time is extremely unreasonable. Spring for a second set of linens. The beds are also clearly old and very uncomfortable. I’ve stayed at a lot of vacation rentals over the years and the expectation is always that guests start a load of laundry, not that they do it start to finish themselves. We liked the location and the privacy but it was not a user-friendly space and we won’t be back.

This home was perfect for our family traveling out of state for a VT wedding. It was so spacious and with 7 adults, we never felt cramped or crowded. It was very comfortable and the hosts were lovely to deal with.

Very easy process. Rental instructions were given a head of time and very thorough. The owners are available if needed. The Cabin was spotless when arrived and we left it that way when we left..

Had a really nice stay with a some friends. Perfect place for board games. Large kitchen for cooking. Great place to stay if you just want to get away for a weekend. Only problems we ran into were finishing all the laundry before checkout (started washing around 6:30a) and finding a nearby trash disposal on a Sunday. Those aren't really problems with the place, just some extra planning for next time.
