beautiful location on the lake with stunning views, lady from the uk that works on reception very helpful along with the bar tender

the room was dirty, hairs in the shower, sink and bed! old used coffee pods still in the machine. a thick layer of dust on all the main surfaces and bits all over the floor. they did move us to a much better room in the end however the feedback was ‘ such small details in the room that can happen!’ they shouldn’t happen is the point and until you understand this and respect the customers views it won’t improve.

Absolutely incredible staff, views, food and amenities. They truly look after you like family here. We had the most perfect time here and will certainly be back.

My wife and I could not have been happier with our stay. The property was perfect and so picturesque we spent hours outside just viewing the lake and enjoying the outside even though it was late December. The staff was beyond accommodating as they helped us with everything like instructions to the hotel, restaurant recommendations and reservations, breakfast every morning was wonderful, and organizing our taxi back to the train.

No complaints from us for this place.

I can definitely say my experience at Relais Villa Vittoria was wonderful, not only for myself but also my fiancée. We arrived at the establishment around 12:00 and within 20 minutes we were able to check-in even though we were told the check-in starts from 15:00, therefore we were really happy they could acommodate us earlier. The room was clean, spacious and really cozy. The best part of it I would say it was the big balcony with its wonderful view over the lake. I specially organised this Holiday so I could propose to my girlfriend in Bellagio. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to travel to Bellagio for the surprise, so I had to come up with a last minute plan along with the photographers to organise the shooting for the proposal within the hotel. I asked for permission from the hotel to go ahead with the shooting on their terrace and they happily agreed to it. The proposal went as planned and we were able to complete our photo shooting in the hotel. Later on we were able to go to the SPA to relax for one hour, and we ended the night with a delightful dinner in their Vinoteca. Food was absolutely delicious!! Special thanks to Federica and Sarah whom were really responsive to our requests and helped me to organise the surprise for my fiancée. Overall our stay was simply amazing, we will definitely come back, but during the summer time.

Great breakfast with our server, Anita, being the highlight. She kept us laughing the entire time. Beautiful location. I wish that we were able to upgrade to room with a view. Unfortunately we got one of the last rooms available due to last minute booking. Excellent dinner in restaurant! Also, we had to leave for airport before breakfast; Anita brought a tray of goodies to our room the night before which was such a nice touch. Woman at front desk was also exceptional. So nice and helpful!

The staff at the hotel was very friendly. Our breakfast host/server was extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to make our meal enjoyable. The hotel itself sits directly on Lake Como. Beautiful views, convenient to ferries and restaurant options even though there's no reason to visit other restaurants.

There is nothing to mention that we didn't like. The bed/mattress could have been a bit softer but that's a personal preference.

2 points: - Would recommend to think about making it an "adult only" hotel. The Luxury and view is amazing to relax but difficult with children making a lot of noice in the pool. We chose for September to avoid too many playing kids and to relax peacefully, but it wasn't possible unfortunately :). - would suggest to opt for better quality of bread during breakfast. breakfast is superb but oven-bread is a bit cheap.

The location is magnificent and the building is beautiful. With that all the positives of the property are basically listed.

Although the property looked very promising on booking.com and conde nast, it did not meet expectations at all. For starters, the receptionist, nor any other member of staff that was present helped me carry in my luggage, despite my struggle as a six months pregnant woman. Our room was located in the attic and was not very clean (dust on the floor, spider next to the toilet). The keycard did not work. The elevator was so slow that you could walk up to the attic twice during the time it needed to get there. We had lunch but the lunch area was disorganized and dirty. The lunch itself was average. In addition you needed to pay 3 EUR pp cover cost, to just sit in that messy area. Staff was overall not welcoming. The receptionist to whom we directed ourselves to complain was not client friendly and simply rude towards the end of the conversation. She did not want to help out and simply said that we should have read the cancellation policy and it was basically our problem that we were not happy with the hotel. Even though we had paid for our 3 nights in the hotel, we preferred to end our vacation early and drive home to Belgium instantly, which we did.

Exceptional Hotel—> beautiful Villa, amazing view on the lake, possibility to jump in the lake from the hotel, great restaurant with very friendly staff (!) and the best tiramisu we had ever had. Would always come back!

Bed could be a bit more comfortable. But it was still ok!
