The team were incredibly friendly and it was so dog friendly. We hadn't been told there was a charge for our dog to stay but the man very kindly charged us for one night instead of 2. Breakfast was tasty.

The room felt a little worn and you could hear people in the hall very clearly due to a gap under door. Road outside was loud.

little bit of road noise in the early morning- nothing major, and the bathroom radiator gurgled all the time. rooms a little tired looking with mismatched lamps (one didn’t work) and no wardrobe just shelves. needs a little renovating but still had a good nights sleep

Felt mismanaged and disorganised. Carpets needed cleaning properly as there was a lot of dog hair. Room was small and dark for the price.

Excellent food and service. I arrived at 18:15 and found that food was served until 19:00. I ordered my meal and was served very quickly. The food was excellent. I wanted a slightly earlier breakfast than advertised and this was accommodated.

A second bedside light would be helpful if two people are using the room.

I think the Manager was friendly

It wasn't very clean and it is in need of an update and more staff, when we came back after a long day out the bar was closed at 10pm which isn't good for residents, we don't want to go to bed that early we are on holiday.

Absolutely stunning place. Spotless ,Fantastic food, Roaring log fires, comfy beds ,amazing views ,great location and best of all the owner and his team really go the extra mile to make your stay special , great chef , lovely people. Incredible value for money. Thank you. we will be back.
