The lady at the reception was very nice and very helpful. As we had a big delay to come over, the hotel management were very professional, helpful. They didn't charge us the whole trip room booking but only the days we stayed there. So thank you to yall and especially, i can't remember her name but she was very competent, smiley and very nice. Thank you

le petit déjeuner uniquement service à l'assiette, pas de buffet, accueil plutôt froid, carte également restreinte du restaurant (mon mari a même été malade suite à ce repas), la femme de ménage qui fait du bruit pendant le petit déjeuner

Could have had a few more sun lounges by the pool. The pool gets very busy around sunset.

The hotel exceeded our expectations with its location, amenities and most importantly the staff. From the pool cleaner, and restaurant personnel to the housekeeping staff and the fantastic front desk staff always with a smile and a 'Bonjour'. They were all the most friendly and accommodating we have experienced in our world travels. Our family enjoyed a prestige two-bedroom unit that had modern decor detailed to a high standard and super clean. The room was oversized for a hotel and the kitchen was a great bonus. Views over the water from the two balconies watching the kite surfers and boats were mesmerising. Along with the most beautiful sunsets over the water, imaginable. The large beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were well-stocked with fluffy towels and the usual amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Breakfast had a good selection of French pastries and hot choices plus fresh fruit and meats. A massage at the spa is a must if you stay and the choice will astound you! The hotel is located in a quiet area but a convenient stroll along the oceanfront to restaurants and retailers. We would recommend the Chateau Royal to any traveller.

The staff were all excellent, easily spoke English or French, smiling, greeted you whenever they walked past you, helpful with questions and suggestions, lovely banter, wonderful service.

My adult daughter and I required 2 single beds. The only minor critique re: our room was the size of the 2 single beds. The length of the beds was perfect however the width of the single beds was quite narrow for an adult. The rest of the room was fantastic. The full kitchen was very useful, the rain shower was lovely, great mirror and lighting in the bathroom, chairs and table out on the balcony. The blackout curtains were a nice bonus and the pocket doors between rooms made it possible to sleep in total darkness as the sun rose before 5am. Also very pleased with our cleaning lady, Paulette, she was very sweet and always did a wonderful job on our room.
