Il y a deux foyers et de nombreux canapés. C'est un endroit pour ceux qui aiment un feu et un bon livre.
Un long solarium surplombe le lac à une extrémité et sur les grottes de Bridgewater à l'autre. C'est un endroit pour regarder la terre tourner et le jour se dérouler.
Deux salles de bains contemporaines et une laverie simple répondent à tous les besoins domestiques. La cuisine est de taille généreuse et vous pouvez vous préparer une tempête tout en regardant l’un des coups sortis de la baie.
Depuis la porte, des sentiers de randonnée mènent à travers le jardin, les collines, autour du lac ou au-delà, jusqu'aux parcs côtiers et nationaux de la région. Il y a des plages sûres, des plages de surf et des promenades spectaculaires au sommet des falaises pour les plus aventureux. C'est un endroit où la sauvagerie est accessible.
À chaque fin de journée, quatre murs de pierre solides et de nouveaux lits garantissent un sommeil réparateur. C'est un endroit pour renouer avec le monde naturel, respirer profondément et recharger les batteries.

The hosts Lisa and Viona are very welcoming and keep the property spotless
We stayed as a family and was lovely not having social media we were able to sit around the fire as a family and also enjoyed singing around the piano 🥰

What an amazing house and location!
This house was instantly relaxing as soon as we arrived. The house is well stocked with everything you need from a home away from home.
The hosts were friendly and communicated well and they called in often during our stay to check in on us.

indescribable beauty of nature all around, a koala lives in the yard, kangaroos can be seen in the meadows nearby

Absolute bliss- no tv/no social media just great together time as a family. 2 x 21 year olds and 1 x 18 year old had a ball fishing/ hiking/ playing board games just like when they were kids. Just wonderul.

Perfect house stay after we completed 13 days hiking the Great South West Walk. The house with it's historical significance, glorious outlook over the lake and sun filled living spaces was everything we could have hoped for. Viona was a delight, both in making sure our arrival went smoothly, and also in checking on us when we'd settled in.

The house was amazing. Everything about it was amazing including the history of the house, the renovations on the house, the views from the property, the welcoming of the owners, and the activities in the area. We will definitely stay there again if we get a chance.

We had a lovely relaxing time. The peacefulness and even with the cold weather the property had a warm charm about it, then add the fire places, definitely worth the stay. The hosts are lovely to deal with. My friends and I needed this break away and we thank you.

When we arrived at the house we were surprised by how incredibly beautiful it is. Stone and polished wood give it a serene interior that is matched outside by it's beautiful views out over the lake. We slept so soundly even though it was blowing a gale due to the wonderful old stone walls.

Our family stayed 2 nights but I wish we had longer! Such a beautiful property in a magical location. So peaceful and full of native wildlife and raw nature. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay at the Lakes House - three generations of family ranging from 7yo to 74yo enjoyed the views, the board games, the morning visits from the roos (complete with joey in pouch), and the afternoon strolls up to find the donkey or visit the nearby caves. Everything we thought we would need was provided to make the stay super comfortable and effortless, and it was a breath of fresh air to have no mobile signal and no wifi! I’ve been visiting Cape Bridgewater for years now, but had never stayed at the Lakes before - we’ll definitely be back in the future!

Amazing views
The striking thing about this property is the views of the lakes. The location and proximity to great walks and coastline is fantastic. If you're a birdwatcher, photographer &/or walker, this is the place for you. We spent alot of time watching the water and sky change with the hours. An extraoridnary sight. Great that there's a washer and dryer. This was a bonus. Not sure how it would be in winter if you weren't a fan of lighting a fire.

A peaceful escape
The Lakehouse is a beautiful, historic house in an idyllic and very peaceful setting. It has a well equipped and spacious kitchen and large comfortable sunroom with stunning views over Bridgewater Lake. The house is very clean, comfortable and unfussy. A great sanctuary to escape the overstimulated modern lifestyle most of us lead!

Beautiful views of the lake
Thoughtfully renovated settlers house suitable for couple(s) or family. House is set on ex farm land with resident kangaroos and animals and without a neighbour in site. The house and property overlooks Bridgewater lakes and the caves just over the road. Swimming spot down at the lake for freshwater swimming. Overall very peaceful and a place to get away for everything. Thanks Viona and Hayne.

Away from it all with stunning views
We loved the house and its history. Playing board games in the addition with the floor to ceiling windows while the sun was setting over the lake and kangaroos were grazing right in front of the house was cozy and peaceful. So many amazing walks and landscapes are just a stone throw away and we were particularly impressed with the blowholes which we visited on a windy day. The owners stopped by for a quick chat, which was nice and told us more about the house and the area. Highly recommend staying there for a very relaxing break from the city.

Serene and spectacular
The property is located in a very secluded area with an amazing outlook. You do not need to go anywhere if you do not want to. If you do want to venture out, lots of walks around. The property has all the essential ammenities and is very comfortable.

We had 6 people staying and the requirement of 6 separate beds and it was perfectly comfortable.The presentation of the property and welcome was spot on.Fires were preset and just needed a match to set off the perfect ambiance.Great lake views.
