Ocean Front Cottage!! Beauty on the outside, Charm on the inside!
Belle maison de plage, entièrement restaurée. Grand attrait, mais une vue encore meilleure du côté de l'océan. Escaliers privés menant à la plage. Portes patio pleine vue dans une grande pièce ouverte pour laisser entrer la brise marine. Beaux planchers de bois partout. Super surf dès la cour. Plusieurs super spots de surf supplémentaires à courte distance de marche. Pêche au surf depuis l'arrière-cour. Grand kayak. Aire de volley-ball dans la crique.
Cette maison est un magnifique chalet construit au début des années 1900 et a été entièrement restaurée et mise à jour avec tout le confort dont vous avez besoin pour vous détendre et en faire votre destination de fuite. C'est vraiment un super chalet, mais il ne fait aucun doute qu'être sur la plage fait toute la différence dans le monde! Vous n'avez pas à promener les enfants à la plage! Ils sont là! La douche d'eau chaude est juste là, dans la cour, à quelques pas de la plage. Si vous avez séjourné dans une maison sur la plage, vous comprenez! Si ce n'est pas le cas, c'est maintenant votre chance!
La côte centrale est la région viticole montante de la Californie. Templeton, Paso Robles, la vallée d'Edna et même Cayucos et Cambria offrent de nombreuses caves de destination à visiter, goûter et acheter.

The property was amazing, the outside gardens and fountains were beautiful spots to relax and get out of the wind if needed, the beach access was easy, so little preplanning and packing was needed. Beach chairs and boogie boards were available which was great because we didn't bring any. The house was unique and had the feel of a vacation get away.

This property greets you with a beautiful outdoor garden on your way to the front door. The house is small yet the quality of it is so nice. Beautiful wood floors, a modern kitchen, lovely unique art that all together creates a lovely ambiance to be in. The ocean front patio and the convenient steps directly to the beach were such a nice bonus too. Talking and texting with the owner was easy and she was very helpful and accommodating as well.
Overall we absolutely enjoyed our week in this cozy cottage.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Journeys End. The views were wonderful and we even saw dolphins from inside the living room! The hummingbirds visiting the beautiful garden were fun to watch as well. The home was very clean and nicely furnished. We had everything we needed. Multiple fireplaces and space heaters as well as extra blankets ensured we were comfortable. The host was very communicative. We will definitely stay here again.

Our family of 4 (2 kids age 7 and 9) had a wonderful week at Journey's End. Lauren and David were super hosts! We walked into a beautiful, clean home with fresh flowers, snacks and a bottle of wine to great us upon arrival. The property was true to the photos and description, with a lovely view of the ocean for sunrise and sunset. They provided us with great local information as we wanted to explore the neighboring towns, mountain bike, hike and dine. Everything was spot on. Thanks so much! We hope to be back in the near future!

I've stayed in many rental properties and this one is by far one of the best! It felt like home from the minute we stepped inside, and was very cozy. It's clear the owners take pride in the property, and make an effort to keep it in good shape. The kitchen is well stocked, and intended to be used. We will stay here again!

We have always enjoyed our stays at Journey’s End. Location is perfect and the house is so charming and comfortable. Everything you could possibly need is provided. We love staying here whenever we have the chance. Our daughter has great memories of staying here and having the private loft area. It is truly one of our favorite places.

Beautiful home on a beautiful beach. Check in was easy and our family and kids loved the oceanfront access and backyard to play in. Lauren was very communicative and answered all our questions promptly. I would return here again with my family. The only criticism I have of the property is not of the home but the beach itself, lots of dried up and rotting seaweed that washed up over the months which attracts a lot of flies. We used a rake to brush it aside to form a clear pathway from the bottom of the steps to the ocean water. It’s mainly for young kids to not trip over it and/or start playing with. This is obviously nature doing it’s thing but found an easy solution by shoveling aside. Can’t wait to return to the home in the future.

Journeys End…what a treasure! We felt like the luckiest family in the world for our special week long stay. Both the interior and exterior have been thoughtfully designed. Favorite moments included my boys playing in the waves straight out from the house, my husband fishing within sight, my parents relaxing on the couch or cooking in the kitchen, and me-blissfully sitting on the back patio enjoying the sound of the waves! We look forward to the next time we get to experience Journeys End!

Amazing property
Our family of four (kids 6 and 8) and my sisters family of four (kids age 10 and 15) had a great time. Sleeping arrangements were perfect as the kids slept in the loft and the adults each had our own rooms. The decor and comforts of the house were outstanding. Also, the location and being steps from the beach and the views were amazing. So many seating options, garden and fountains add to the tranquility. Would love to stay here again in the future.

Amazing in every way!
My family and I stayed in this beautiful home for two short, but perfect, days! We have been coming to Cayucos for over 40 years now, and we will definitely plan on staying here again! We said many times if we were to own a home on the beach, it would look and feel exactly like this one! The hosts were very quick to communicate everything we would need for our stay, and they even made our arrival more special by surprising us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and bottle of wine to welcome us into their home! We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing beach house
We celebrated my mom’s 80th birthday here and left with wonderful memories. The house is well appointed, well kept, with beautiful garden areas and a back patio that faces the ocean. Our kids loved being able to go down to the beach whenever they wanted. We hope to stay here again!

Beautiful location
It's really a beautiful spot right on the ocean. The cottage is charming and well maintained. The beach and the view are perfect. Our host Lauren was very helpful and responsive. The only thing to keep in mind is that it can get really cold in winter and the heating is space heaters and a gas fireplace.

Beautifully appointed cottage right on the beach! The home was well appointed and had everything we could need for a weekend trip. It was really cold outside (January), so we didn’t get to fully enjoy the outdoor seating, but saw the potential of enjoying in warmer months. We look forward to another stay in the future.
