The house was everything it was advertised was a beautiful neighborhood with a beautiful property. Everything inside the house was exactly as said in the listing. Our family had a wonderful time staying there will definitely stay again.

This home has everything you need for a family vacation. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms were clean, and the backyard was beautiful. Even though this is an older home, the owners have updated most areas and it’s beautifully decorated. Our 2 year old grandson appreciated the toys! The high chair and other items for children were well maintained so there’s no need to bring your own. A few notes: the area on the pool level is really nice and but you can’t get to it without going downstairs through the garage or taking the deck stairs down off of the kitchen. I didn’t quite understand this when I read the description of the home. It didn’t present a problem for us,But if you plan to have kids sleep down there it may not work. Also, there is no air conditioner (which is noted in the description) and while we were there in July, it didn’t cool down enough at night to sleep down there. However, there were fans in the closets so perhaps that would help. The only other thing I would recommend when renting is don’t be shy about taking the owner up on the offer to have the pool cleaned more often. The trees close to the pool do drop a lot of leaves in the pool and on the pool deck. I ended up sweeping the deck most mornings.which wasn’t a big deal.
Most sightseeing was a minimum of 30 minutes but we didn’t mind at all. Spent time at Balboa, Seaport Village, Sunset Cliffs, the zoo, Del Mar, La Jolla. Would rent again!

This home is an older home that has been updated /remodeled in most areas and it was perfect for us as a family. The kitchen offered almost every spice and pantry item you could ask for! There was a pak n’ play as well as a high chair set up for us. They cater to families and the location was great for all the area attractions! John was one of the BEST property owners I have ever dealt with! We even left a few items behind and he graciously sent them to us, at NO cost! I would highly recommend this quiet home to anyone.

Our stay in Escondido was amazing. The house was spotlessly clean, secluded, and simply great. We enjoyed using the BBQ pit without any issues and the hot tub was a hit, especially on the cooler day we stayed in.
The house had everything for our little ones, from toys to a high chair. The hosts are great and responsive.

We had a very nice, comfortable weekend trip. The house was perfect for our group (6 adults). All the rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The whole house is really charming. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. We recommend breakfast at Home Sweet Home. Chicken Lisa's and Stone Brewery for dinner. Each place was delicious! Such a wonderful weekend!

We couldn’t have been more happy with our stay! We were traveling with our daughters family, and there was literally some thing for everyone in this home. The backyard was an oasis, and the house was very clean, and every detail was taken care of. We especially enjoyed eating some fresh citrus from the trees on the property I would recommend this home the girls really enjoyed the playroom downstairs. It had everything that they love to play with. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Our family, with six children ranging in age from 11 to 26 years, gathered at this gorgeous home to celebrate a local cousin's wedding nearby. Not only was it clean with plenty of room, but everything was beautiful, comfortable, in excellent condition and supplying for all of our needs. Most appreciated was a quiet, lovely place for us to just be together. After a long day seeing extended family, we were so glad to escape to the hot tub and unwind. We will cherish the memories made here for years to come.

This property was beautiful it was secluded and was up away from things so it was quiet but was a short drive to stores and restaurants. We enjoined the pool and spa and the beautiful back yard but also had wonderful dinners inside and on the upper deck. The inside of the house is very nice. The play room and toys and all the pool toys were great for the kids. And the private lower room was very comfortable and we very much enjoyed our time there. I would definitely recommend.

Property is well-maintained and the property owner was very helpful in advance and responsive to our needs. My daughter and husband and two children (age 3 and 11 months) were comfortable sleeping in the lower level, while adult son, wife and I were very happy in the main level. Pool and hot tub were a nice way to entertain everyone, and the gardens are beautiful. It's also a great location to see area attractions, although we spent much of our time on the property.

Perfect for our Family
We were there to celebrate my daughters 13th birthday and wanted a quiet place not too far, but not too close to San Diego for the zoo and other attractions. We also wanted to throw her a family pool party. This wonderful house served both purposes perfectly. It was very clean, spacious and well organized. The lower pool-level living space was perfect for the kids’ late night board games while the adults hung out around the pool space. John was very cordial and answered any questions we had. An overall fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

Care and Love for my Mom
Many of us we're in Escondido for my niece's wedding but we needed to ensure proper care and love for my mom during this time as well as the was just to much activity where she currently was staying in preparation for the wedding.
This beautiful home was a safe haven for my mom and for all of her children who cared for her during that week. The openness of the floor plan made it easy for us to communicate and tend to my mom each day. The beautiful yard jacuzzi, and Home in general as well as the quiet roads made it an ideal location for us to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and may rent it again for the next wedding in June.

Inside the home was beautiful and really well stocked. The layout worked perfectly for our family. The only downside was the bottom floor was a little loud when people were walking around above, but I would still stay again if traveling to the area.

Great stay
Owners were great to communicate with. Check-out was exceptionally easy, which is nice when you’re trying to pack up and leave to make your flight home. My one and only criticism is the cap on A/C. I know CA energy bills are ridiculous but 76 degrees is way warmer than we are used to. If it wasn’t for fans we would have been very uncomfortable. But our hosts were absolutely fantastic, and the great room is awesome for hanging out. There’s a place for everyone to sit without being cramped.

Relaxing Getaway
This property was amazing! It's very spacious and had more than enough room for our entire party. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and living room are open concept which was perfect for our family as we were able to all enjoy each other's company while cooking and eating. The backyard is relaxing with a pool that was perfect for my four year old. The water is initially cold but once you're in there for a few minutes, it feels amazing in the hot sun. The playroom downstairs was an added perk as my daughter was able to play before or after we were in the pool. John is very responsive and friendly and is availble to answer any questions you may have during your stay!
